My daughter wanted to become a nun and we didn’t want her to go to convent. So what she did was she did her MD ( US) and now Fellowship and doing many missionary work after getting married and has a small baby. Now she is in Uganda with small baby and husband in a small town with limited resources being a graduate from prestigious medical schools.

Only in 2006 government fees came. Due to christens colleges, other colleges also increased fees. Later no government seats and or subsidies fees in Kerala. Even sc also said no cross subsidies allowed in mc.
In Karnataka medical expenses are more if at all government fees i hope. Anyway congratulations dear father. Actually MBBS is essential for priests and nuns because doctors duty is dedicated 24 hours. If that be so, married life for doctors may make inconvenience. Parents must know, we should gift best son to god not ordinary qualified to God.
