In our society, very few people work at jobs which provides them with a sense of purpose or self fulfillment. In fact, very few imagine such jobs. People work because they must, in order to eat and keep a roof over their heads. People don’t necessarily love their work, or even like it, but they need to work to survive. And their fear is What if there is no work for me? What would I do?
@@jackshultz2024well, i may not be a big brain but i do see here in the United states, most people, who are healthy enough and good age to work simply dont and the government feeds them and gives them everything they need to survive by taking almost half of my pay check. So here in the states, you dont have to do anything but live off the backs of others.
Here in the West, unions and working people in general fear that they will be displaced from their employment by AI and robotics. China is deploying robots and AI much more rapidly and widely than anything we are seeing here in the West. I’m wondering how workers in China regard these developments and what their response is.
