Unfortunately all performances on the singer, and most singing shows, are indeed edited. But that said if you watch fan cams and other vids that clearly weren't edited you can tell he doesn't need it! He is fully capable of singing everything in this performance so it sucks these shows feel the need to alter the sound before releasing it but thats the sad truth about singing shows =/

You are right, I heard the same 3 glitches in the ending, it is on all the standalone videos of this song but it is not on the full 1st Episode video. I was originaly thinking the battery on the microphone was low and was missing packets until I seen the full episode.
Yeah, it's a video glitch and you see his arm movement glitch/ stutter too. As for the earlier instance, other coaches mention having to train to relax the area totally to get the best sound out, so Dimash is obviously very highly trained in getting the perfect sound. If you strain there, you strangle your sound, so he's always efficient on those notes.

Dimash is tenor, bass, baritone, soprano and more.....all in one. D6 is too normal a note for him. Search for his extreme singing videos on YT and you get what the hyped about Dimash is all about. Don't just watch one episode. Watch ALL the episodes of Dimash in I'm A Singer 2017. And this reality show is only for established professional singers with at least one professional award.....not for amateurs. And Dimash don't just sing. I don't believe that for a second. They didn't just invite him not knowing what he sounds like. That's the narrative they are using to raise the status and awareness of their competition. They need some kind of ace in the hole. This year it was Jessie J. They even did a dramatic intro bit on how to raise the stakes this year. However, she was pretty much known to be the top dog, not the surprise hit. Wonder who it's going to be in 2019...
Dimash never fails to make me very emotional. First time I heard him I cried my eyes out. He connects to the very core of the human condition. You don't even need to know the words to be touched, to feel he expressed how you feel, how you have been in the story and feelings the song conveys.
Oh his voice is just out of this world. When he's at his best condition, his voice can be mistaken as autotune or electronic stuffs. He respected those who acknowledge him so he will always sing live in order not to disappoint them even when he's sick. You'll be surprise to learn that dimash's voice is just phenomenal the more u watch his other performances. Can't wait for more reaction to dimash.

Doing this outdoors was a horrible idea. The background noises were extremely annoying and really detracted from the song. I also prefer your reactions where you don't talk over the song and interrupt. The sound at the end that you referred to is a glitch that only occurs in this particular recording. If you listen to the same performance on the same show in a different recording, you won't hear that sound.

By the way I saw him sing this song live in Los Angeles - front row center, maybe 5 feet away. It was a last minute thing at a small venue (the Saban) for a Kazahk cultural event. No special lights, music on tape. He has insane vocal control. The beauty of it left me breathless

Thanks for this, love hearing opinions from people who know what they are saying and who give their honest opinions respecting the singer and not being aggressive. It is a on going debate if the producers of this show use something to make the tv shows sound flawless and if it is, that is annoying because Dimash does not need it! Thanks for sharing. I have several friends which have been on singing show contests, and they have phenomenal voices, yet the producers still use pitch correction unfortunately. I was amazed a few years ago when I first started noticing it. Even to the extent that they used it on the initial audition performance! But yeah, obviously you can tell a singer's ability, even with the pitch correction. Pitch correction is not complete magic haha, it can't disguise a bad singer's voice.

It is stupid that if people detect some correction they shut down and dont see the amazing talent that the singer still has. And it is sad that people assume that everything has to be perfect, the perfect sound for me rises from the singers emotions and rawness and sometimes even voice cracking can make the performance even more perfect.

For sure. If you watch some of the earlier reactions, they are clean. Somewhere along the line, this skip happened to the recording. Similar in Sinful Passion. There is a part where the original video didn’t skip, now it does. And when everyone does a reaction video, that skip is now in their videos.

There is absolutely no electronic correction and his performance he is a wildcard from another country competing in a Chinese competition they would absolutely not allow it. So sometimes it helps if you use a little common sense. The problem is he’s so good you don’t believe it

This is his first song on this show, no one heard of him before.. They are hearing him for the first time.. Amazing.. He has been doing this since the age o five.. He sings and do things his way.. He play 7 instruments and sings in 9 or 10 languages.. I can listen to his songs over and over and never gets bored.. He just touches my heart somehow... That's it...

Я согласна с комментирующими, просто этот человек делает себе имя на Димаше, т.к. просмотрел сумасшедшее количество просмотров пения Димаша и огромное количество реакций от профессионалов до любителей по всему миру. Настоящий музыкант сразу уловит где живой голос, а где компьютерная обработка. Он потом поменял свою спесь))) Теперь с восторгом слушает Димаша и забыл, что он учитель пения))). Оказалось, до наших учителей пения во многих странах как до звезды))). Вообще, развелось много учителей пения, которые анализируют пение Димаша, но об их учениках никто не слышал пока)). Из всех реакционеров-учителей я ценю самого первого - турка, который сказал, что фортепиано закончилось, а Димаш продолжает петь и уже человечеству надо изобрести новый инструмент. ( Фортепиано ведь отображает весь спектр голосов людей). Димаш бесценен- столько людей во всем мире заставил восхищаться своим талантом и мастерством, взращенным в Казахстане.

This kid's amazing and his voice its real,he has been singing since the age of 4,and came from a family of singers,and musiciens..The great thing,about Dimash,is the he was born with that kind of voice,just like Mascellito Pomoy..Its well known that most Philipino people are able to do dual voices.That's just who they are,,,
The last weird sound is due to the video itself which froze. I suppose the video was simply badly uploaded on TH-cam. I assume there may be a pitch correction (the truth is I don't know) when editing for the live broadcasting. The idea is simple : the singer 2017 is a ultra popular Chinese competition (Jessie J is participating in the singer 2018) and when the contestants were singing, there was no pitch correction for fair competition. But for the Chinese music industry and the 300 millions people watching this show on TV, pitch correction and showing people surprised reactions were part of bringing a better audio and visual experience to those watching the show. Yet, like you said whether there is pitch correction or not, it still display Dimash singing abilities, including his range

You may be right because even Dimash himself says he is aware that they do tweek the final sound that goes out on live TV, but remember the audience and their reactions are what they are hearing in the studio live. This is borne out by listening to some content of his many live concerts he has done since the Singer competition. I would love to see your reactions on his other "Singer" performances Ep 2 thro Ep 13 (he wasn't in ep11 as he was already thro to finals) am sure you will enjoy them, he always tried to pick unusual songs week by week and even took on "Uptown Funk" when they had the crazy fun week ep5. My personal favourite ((very hard to choose!) is ep4 "Late Autumn". 👌🎼👍👍

I don't believe that for a second. They didn't just invite him not knowing what he sounds like. That's the narrative they are using to raise the status and awareness of their competition. They need some kind of ace in the hole. This year it was Jessie J. They even did a dramatic intro bit on how to raise the stakes this year. However, she was pretty much known to be the top dog, not the surprise hit. Wonder who it's going to be in 2019...
Dimash never fails to make me very emotional. First time I heard him I cried my eyes out. He connects to the very core of the human condition. You don't even need to know the words to be touched, to feel he expressed how you feel, how you have been in the story and feelings the song conveys.
Oh his voice is just out of this world. When he's at his best condition, his voice can be mistaken as autotune or electronic stuffs. He respected those who acknowledge him so he will always sing live in order not to disappoint them even when he's sick. You'll be surprise to learn that dimash's voice is just phenomenal the more u watch his other performances. Can't wait for more reaction to dimash.

Doing this outdoors was a horrible idea. The background noises were extremely annoying and really detracted from the song. I also prefer your reactions where you don't talk over the song and interrupt. The sound at the end that you referred to is a glitch that only occurs in this particular recording. If you listen to the same performance on the same show in a different recording, you won't hear that sound.

Welcome to Dimash :) More please. This is just a hint of what he can do. 6+ octave range. One concert he hits a D8. By the way I saw him sing this song live in Los Angeles - front row center, maybe 5 feet away. It was a last minute thing at a small venue (the Saban) for a Kazahk cultural event. No special lights, music on tape. He has insane vocal control. The beauty of it left me breathless

Thanks for this, love hearing opinions from people who know what they are saying and who give their honest opinions respecting the singer and not being aggressive. It is a on going debate if the producers of this show use something to make the tv shows sound flawless and if it is, that is annoying because Dimash does not need it! Thanks for sharing. I have several friends which have been on singing show contests, and they have phenomenal voices, yet the producers still use pitch correction unfortunately. I was amazed a few years ago when I first started noticing it. Even to the extent that they used it on the initial audition performance! But yeah, obviously you can tell a singer's ability, even with the pitch correction. Pitch correction is not complete magic haha, it can't disguise a bad singer's voice.

It is stupid that if people detect some correction they shut down and dont see the amazing talent that the singer still has. And it is sad that people assume that everything has to be perfect, the perfect sound for me rises from the singers emotions and rawness and sometimes even voice cracking can make the performance even more perfect.

For sure. If you watch some of the earlier reactions, they are clean. Somewhere along the line, this skip happened to the recording. Similar in Sinful Passion. There is a part where the original video didn’t skip, now it does. And when everyone does a reaction video, that skip is now in their videos.

There is absolutely no electronic correction and his performance he is a wildcard from another country competing in a Chinese competition they would absolutely not allow it. So sometimes it helps if you use a little common sense. The problem is he’s so good you don’t believe it

This is his first song on this show, no one heard of him before.. They are hearing him for the first time.. Amazing.. He has been doing this since the age o five.. He sings and do things his way.. He has his own unique style.... I for one have never ever heard anyone sing the way he does,, He knows what he is capable of doing.. he arranges everything before it's his time to sing.. He play 7 instruments and sings in 9 or 10 languages.. I can listen to his songs over and over and never gets bored.. He just touches my heart somehow... That's it...

Простите, сначала, по-моему, нужно прослушать пение целиком и только потом останавливать чуть ли не на каждой ноте или фразе. Я согласна с комментирующими, просто этот человек делает себе имя на Димаше, т.к. просмотрел сумасшедшее количество просмотров пения Димаша и огромное количество реакций от профессионалов до любителей по всему миру. Настоящий музыкант сразу уловит где живой голос, а где компьютерная обработка. К тому же надо было бы немного прочесть о самом конкурсе: китайцы допустили бы, чтобы певцы выступали на КОНКУРСЕ с компьютерной обработкой???. Поэтому огромный респект первым " реакционерам", которые искренни и профессиональны в своих суждениях. Остальное от лукавого.

Он потом поменял свою спесь))) Теперь с восторгом слушает Димаша и забыл, что он учитель пения))). Оказалось, до наших учителей пения во многих странах как до звезды))). Вообще, развелось много учителей пения, которые анализируют пение Димаша, но об их учениках никто не слышал пока)). Из всех реакционеров-учителей я ценю самого первого - турка, который сказал, что фортепиано закончилось, а Димаш продолжает петь и уже человечеству надо изобрести новый инструмент. ( Фортепиано ведь отображает весь спектр голосов людей). Димаш бесценен- столько людей во всем мире заставил восхищаться своим талантом и мастерством, взращенным в Казахстане.

Discovered him last year. His voice is out of this world. He is from Kazakstan but he sings in French on this one.
This kid's amazing and his voice its real,he has been singing since the age of 4,and came from a family of singers,and musiciens..The great thing,about Dimash,is the he was born with that kind of voice,just like Mascellito Pomoy..Its well known that most Philipino people are able to do dual voices.That's just who they are,,,
The last weird sound is due to the video itself which froze. I suppose the video was simply badly uploaded on TH-cam.
I assume there may be a pitch correction (the truth is I don't know) when editing for the live broadcasting. The idea is simple : the singer 2017 is a ultra popular Chinese competition (Jessie J is participating in the singer 2018) and when the contestants were singing, there was no pitch correction for fair competition. But for the Chinese music industry and the 300 millions people watching this show on TV, pitch correction and showing people surprised reactions were part of bringing a better audio and visual experience to those watching the show.
Yet, like you said whether there is pitch correction or not, it still display Dimash singing abilities, including his range

Hi, Brilliant constructive reaction to Dimash. You may be right because even Dimash himself says he is aware that they do tweek the final sound that goes out on live TV, but remember the audience and their reactions are what they are hearing in the studio live. This is borne out by listening to some content of his many live concerts he has done since the Singer competition. I would love to see your reactions on his other "Singer" performances Ep 2 thro Ep 13 (he wasn't in ep11 as he was already thro to finals) am sure you will enjoy them, he always tried to pick unusual songs week by week and even took on "Uptown Funk" when they had the crazy fun week ep5. My personal favourite ((very hard to choose!) is ep4 "Late Autumn". 👌🎼👍👍

This guy has been singing since he's 2 years old. He's extraordinary swimmer, which helped with the breathing he needs to sing. His parents sing opera. This is the real deal.... Dimash is amazing..
