How anybody can NOT fall in love with this boy, I don't know! It's not just his incredible range and ability - which is truly outstanding! - but also his emotional connection to the music, the way he tells a story, the way he makes us feel... you can't help but believe every word he sings! What makes this amazing showcase-in-a-single-song so special for me though, is that he seems to have been given complete creative control to do whatever he wanted - and decided to really go for it! To play with his instrument, to show off what he could do - just... oh, I just loved it! I could go on for hours, extolling the virtues of this magnificent, truly humble and dedicated young man, but...!😍😍😍😍😍
A#5. I'm a soprano, so I'm used to hearing and singing in that range. What you're likely hearing higher than that is overtones. He's singing the note with such power and resonance that when he changes the shape of his mouth, the harmonics that are amplified are changed. (kinda like overtone singing) That's why you're hearing tones about an octave above, that's right where the first harmonic is for any note. Additionally, it would be very difficult to slide up that far(all things considered even for a female vocalist). That's more than an octave, and even in a head heavy mask placed mixed voice like he's using there, sliding up fully into the 6th octave would be a challenge, especially since there's no disconnect between notes so he's not switching registers, even quickly, to a a disconnected register like whistle or falsetto. So yeah that's still impressive. That's a mixed A#5/Bb5 belt, which is incredible, even before you realize it's the start of a 22 second run.
Thank you for your expertise. This guy fascinates me and has done for the last three years. I enjoy hearing from other singers who totally get what he is doing.
Rached, I am so happy to watch you because you actually have a real interest like his fans in Dimash. So positive. Thank you so much Rached. I am 61, disabled and live alone. I don’t even have family in the State where I live. So thank you for your Reactions which are genuine. You make me laugh in some of your reactions but I feel ya!🤣. God bless you Rached👏🏾❤️🙏
Yes! Finally a reaction that noticed the 22 sec run! Ya, I’m late to the show, but you had to appreciate it a second time! Loved every minute. Thank you.
RnB you have to see him live. I travel to London Last week at O2 to his concert and I was literally amazedi spend hours with my friends at the door O2 talking about the unreal voice he has. Never forget in my life what I see and hear. Thank you for your reaction!
This is exactly another reason I watch all of your reaction videos..... ok here is the deal. I am seriously hearing impaired in certain parts of my hearing. Some frequencies I have completely normal hearing but most/a lot of my hearing is in the moderate to severe hearing loss range. So when I listen to music, I have to listen to it pretty much cranked all the way up. However when listening to Dimash and trying to pick apart some of his most difficult runs, there are pieces that go completely out of my hearing ability no matter how loud I turn up my headphones. I love the fact that you continue to hammer out and pick apart a run!! I am not a singer any more...except in the shower or when I am painting, but wow how I love listening. Picking apart instruments and vocals is so soothing for some weird reason. Kind of like doing a puzzle. 😂 It really really helps me figure out the notes I cannot hear. It can be frustrating at times.... thanks so much!!
Oh Rashed, You are a such generous person by doing second reaction on the same Dimash performance. This is what you and Dimash have in common. You sharing generously your music knowledge with us, amateur viewers and Dimash is a such generous in his performances, he puts all cards on the table for audience to enjoy it in full extend. He could have done all song in his lower register without all vocal acrobatics, just one small trick and it already would be amazing and remarkable performance. But he is such generous by giving all his talent to the people and put all out in every and each performances. Thank you. Rashed + Dimash = TH-cam Super Stars!
yep... 22 seconds. good luck with that. lol. He also set a new recorded low at C2 for this performance. Those low notes of his are killing me. I must confess though that I have a serious low note fetish. 😂 I still think that the breathy falsetto with those strings is one of the most perfect things I've ever heard tho. ❤❤ I'm glad you decided to do this one again. This is such a rich musical experience. ❤❤ DKIFC-USA
Geo Mamaherb His official recorded range is C2 - D8. Dimash keeps his actual range to himself because the emotion of the song is more important than the notes he can sing. In addition, he's always working to improve.... so, I'm sure he will surprise us again in the future.
I'm glad you did this reaction again. Love your reactions. Congratulations on your new daughter. You will be a wonderful father.Your analysis are great. I always learn something.
That was a lovely reaction, thank you! Btw - a little trivia related to this video - when the song is over and camera zooms into audience, you can see a tall, slim gentleman giving Dimash a standing ovation - that guy is the composer of Love of tired swans and the very same person that sits behind piano while Dimash sings it in your next reaction video:-)
looking forward to a study/practice of this amazing final run, love your reactions, this performance was well worth a second reaction and hopefully more to come
Even if you did a take 50 of this performance, I would still watch it 😅 thank you fornthe analysis coach! And *congratulations for the new baby* may your family be blessed always 💐
good lord!! in that last run (22 secs), I think there is a small break kind of voice also among other things as well..ascending, descending, slide, and small break somewhere in there...
That breaking is called “muam” .That technic belongs to Asia. It’s a traditional technic which used in Iran, Azerbaijan and many countries with different in taste
Thank you so much for re-reacting (I conceive it can be boring and time wasting, but never with Dimash). Goosebumps at only 1:30, that's not common! This is a song you could develop an analysis every 3 seconds! As always, pertinent, professionnal and entertaining, as I know this song by heart, I love to ear at it while I watch at your face and smiles (almost scary at times).

I've seen a bunch of vocal coaches on TH-cam say it's an E6. While he obviously can do an E6, my untuned guitar and this guy nailed it as an A#6
Congratulations on your new daughter!

Hi, Dears 💜💜
@Geo Mamaherb I suspect he could go higher and lower (with some straining), but he choose what is comfortable on stage without straining too much.

Dimash is a Vocal God!!!
Lol when you can’t find the note dimash hit on a freaking piano you know he went crazy. Great vid.

I love how you rewatched this video.
Wonderful analysis, thank you!
Great analysis
Oh what a treat! Thanks for that second round! Didn’t expect it! I actually did enjoy the version with Jess, she’s so lovely! But to be franc I also missed your more focused reaction style. I understand why you’ve been asked to redo it. You couldn’t know it in advance, but it was probably bad timing, as this particular performance deserved your full attention. Thanks for the repeat! 🙏
You're welcome, thanks for watching
Going to his London concert tonight! You would 😍
Always enjoy your reactions for Dimash. Wanted to share a reaction from
a voice teacher who shows you how Dimash does that amazing yodeling
thing :)
@
Outstanding Dimash vocals and outstanding analysis Rashed. I observe that you notice the 'little unusual reactions' on the sidelines, please check out the piano player's facial expression at about the 5:15 mark on the video, don't think he can believe Dimash's superhuman capabilities either. I think he needed a minute to compose himself. Just an observation and to let you know I appreciate your reactions to Dimash. A talented vocal coach you are Rashed.

Interesting. Yeah holding one note is different
