London-based jazz bass player Michael Mondesir has an enviable CV that takes in Jeff Beck, Billy Cobham, Jack DeJohnette, John McLaughlin and Ginger Baker. As an instructor, he’s taught at the Royal Academy of Music and Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen and he’s also occupied the bass chair in the West End show Dream Girls since 2017.
