Hey, thank you so much for watching. I want your feedback what do you think about the new Boston Terrier Gift shop I created? bit.ly/BostonTerrierSocietyGiftShop if you like any items here is a 10% Discount Code - BOS10
Thank you for all your information. We just lost our little girl Evee Grace. She was amazing, full of love and happiness. She will be for ever missed. I would love to get another but I just don’t know if where to look. I want a reputable breeder. Good health. Thank you for all your information. Love your dog by the way. ❤️🐾🐾❤️
I breed dogs so ive met a lot of puppy buyers that have been scammed. Its very common yet so many are caught off guard. This is a very informative and needed video
This is great information. When I was looking for my Boston, I ran across something like this. Fortunately I found my Boston close by. She is such a blessing. I am enjoying all your videos. And have learned some of her crazy behavior is common. Thanks and keep posting.
Wow, so glad I saw this video! I almost fell for the same thing. I only knew it was fake for sure, when they would only text me with really bad grammar, and refused to let me come out to see any puppies! Thanks so much for the info! I hope to find another Boston baby soon! I just lost my 16 year old, named Dottie Lou. Now I know how to look! Thanks again!
Oh my goodness! People actually go to all that trouble rather than earning an honest living!!! They are simply preying on a persons love and desire for a puppy! I do believe there’s a very special place in hell for them!
Yes they do. I felt soooooo sorry for a lady who came from Austin to buy one of my puppies in Dallas Texas she had gotten scammed on Craigslist but I told her I would never ask for money up front but if she was traveling to my home I would hold for her. I even had a man fly in from Florida for a pup
Leslie Arellano sadly it’s everywhere! I’m currently in South Africa and a dear friend of mine also got scammed out of a lot of money for a Boston... there’s a special place in hell reserved for those people!
Great info for Anything bought online, including BT dogs! Thanks for posting. I bought my dog online back in the mid 2000s, and was So nervous. I paid a big holding deposit to a stranger and had to wait a few weeks for the puppy to get old enough. She notified me with an appointment to come to her home, then when I arrived at the address, which was about a 2 hour drive, no one answered the door, and there was no cell service. My husband was super mad thinking we had been scammed. I could hear dogs barking though, so walked around the property until I found a back door and knocked. Finally a teenager answered the door and said something like oh my mom probably forgot, and she's not home. She brought the litter in to the den from another area, and we played with them for a while. She said we could have our pick of any of them, but in the end kept our original choice, we completed the official papers with the teenager, and left with our dog. There was no follow up by the breeder, so that was strange. Our dog lived until he was around 12 1/2, and was a pretty great dog over all. He had a few significant, but typical for purebred BT dog health issues like a luxating patella that he had to have surgery for at 2 years old, and lifelong skin allergies needing daily steroid pills. He got cateracts as he got older, so was blind the last couple years, and was also pretty deaf and incontinent the last few months (probably because he didn't know where he was). We still miss him terribly though.
I believe I just encountered one of these sites! Thank you so much for your information! I'm a boston lover and when I asked for a contract or information prior to sending money I got a nasty response! Not the way a reputable breeder would of responded.
THANK you, Donny. What makes me ticked is that some of the reputable show breeders say THEY will pick out the best puppy for you. Many won’t let you meet the puppy until you pick up. What’s up with that? I want not only a healthy dog, but one that is interested in playing with us. I don’t want to impulse buy. ☦️👩🏻🦳🐾🇺🇸ohio
Good info. To add to what you've said about the scam sites, legit breeders will include lineage and often have pix of the parents and their accomplishments.
I am so glad I found this video! I almost sent a payment to the same scammers under a different website. Exact same responses. I got a guy to call me, clearly with a thick Indian accent even though claiming to live in Oklahoma. I asked to FaceTime with the puppies and they hung up on me
I had a feeling Puppy Galaxy was a scam, I found the same things as Donnie described in the video. I didn't know how to verify that the company wasn't legit, so I called the AKC for advise and to see if they were registered with them since they were saying they had "registered" puppies. The AKC advised me to ask for the litter number, breeders name, phone, and address. When I did this, I did not receive any further interactions with Puppy Galaxy! The next Company I went to fell into the same category, so I did not pursue any online breeders again. I found a local one where I could go and actually meet the breeder, the puppies and the parents! I am so happy I am bringing home my new baby Zoey this Friday!! :)
Our BT puppy came from one of those dog selling pages. I filtered bread and area. Came up with some few hrs away. Lady had been on the page for some time before the puppies where up for sale. Prices was in that nice spot you speak of, but we called her and left a message. She called back next day and was able to go PU the puppy few days later. Super nice older lady that was happy to show off the other puppies and momma. (Daddy was few houses down) It was suppose to be for my wife. A cuddle buddy at night. Nope, she cuddles up with me most of the time. Momma is jealous. Love this cute little gas ball.
It’s very difficult to find a well bred Boston. You usually have to get on a waiting list. If there’s a “breeder” that has a lot of puppies immediately available be suspicious.
I had a black and white boston that looks like the puppy you have up. I wanted a red female and went to buy one and the females were gone, so I bought the last male and decided when they were ready they could breed and maybe I could get a red female! Female was AKC and male was only one parent AKC but the parents and pups looked adorable. In about 9 mos. to a year, the parents decided to breed. They had 4 pups all beautiful and great marks, all males no red bostons. The C-Section cost me $2K., shots and deworming $400. Dewclaw and docking $400. I listed the pups on craigslist for $800 and they were gone very quickly. I required people to come to my home and wanted to make sure they were placed with good families. You can see there is no financial benefit vet bill was $2800 and food another $300, and I did not even get a red female ! Still I think the breastfeeding is beneficial for the female prior to her being fixed which she is now !
Have u ever seen small bump/wart looking things randomly pop up around a bostons mouth? I was just give my puppy a bath and I saw like 4 bumps on her lip
Another red flag is not screening the buyers. A good breeder doesn’t give their dogs to anyone. They ask screening question to see if you will be a good fit/ owner.
A bit confusing, I got my boss baby when she was 12 weeks old and she was much smaller than the pups shown in this video. She's 2 now and still on the small side.
Bullseye with this video!!...I can’t even imagine sending money over the internet to purchase a BT without seeing it IN PERSON FIRST!! All the BT’s we’ve owned we’ve gone to their houses, held the puppies, looked them over to find the right one for our family. I know it’s not an easy thing for everyone to do but it’s the best way (for both puppy & owners) to know you’re getting the right choice. Good luck! 👍 👍
My gut feeling that Kingdom Boston Terriers may be a scam led me to this video. Every red-flag you mention here is present! Down to the language and wording of the email I received after requesting more info on one of their Bostons

@@tom-ss2mn The AKC Marketplace is NOT a trustworthy place to find a puppy. The AKC Market place does absolutely NOTHING to ensure the quality or legitimacy of the people selling dogs there.
