Also, how many scriptures in the NT, do you need where Jesus states specifically he is NOT YHWH or Jehovah? Phil 2:6-9, John 16:28, John 15:15, 1 John 2:1. How about Rev 1? Where it explicitly states YHWH or Jehovah , through Jesus, gives the revelation to John. If Jesus is God, why is Jesus or God even mentioned? How about when Stephen was being stoned to death, and he saw Jesus at the right hand of Jehovah? I can post at least another 50 NT scriptures that refute trinity. My mother is a J W for 40 years And I also debated with her like you with this JW man and she is blind and can’t understand the bible brother in Christ at the end of my preaching to her she is mad at me and loses her eyes. So we do pray that the Holy Spirit will open your mother's eyes and reveal the truth that Jesus Christ is Lord. We can debate forever and accomplish nothing. It is up to Holy Spirit to plant the seed. Your debating is not in vein, God is giving your mother many changes to acknowledge Him, using you as His obedient servant. We can do nothing without Christ, who strenghens us in situations like these. I believe that your mother will eventually be saved in God's time. I believe this is the most effective way to bring Witnesses and Muslims to Jesus by showing them that Jesus Is God from their own scriptures, this may be the only way since they claim to follow what they believe their scriptures say. All you are to do is keep your eyes on Israel and on Damascus, Look. His calling us up early is not dependent on getting JW’s to accept Jesus. Yes, we are to witness, but there is going to be tons of witnessing going on during the 7 years. Everything centers on Israel. We are watching everything fall into place right now.
I'm sitting here with someone I care deeply for. She became vehemently enraged when I attempted to explain that JWs use another translation. She repeatedly told me I was calling her stupid and all kinds of other things and no matter how many times I tried to tell her they do not use the KJV, she said that they do use THAT version! I told her that Truth is truth and fiction is fiction and opinion is opinion but they aren't mutually interchangeable. It just made her get angrier and angrier. So, I failed miserably to get her to even start to listen to any kind of truth about the Christ's deity or any other lie the JW teach and now I feel horrible. Wish I knew what to do to help her. I guess she is more concerned with being right than being right with God.
@@rachellejones1361 Do you not know that the New World Translation is a new English writing based on the KJV. Fun fact, in the JW app, we can load the KJV right along with the NWT and compare the text while researching scriptures. There are also other versions that can be used too. When I was studying, prior to being baptized, I compared the RCC Bible I have, the KJV (3 versions) and interlinear bibles because I was told many lies about what JWs use. Maybe go to one meeting or even a remote session with this person you speak of and see for yourself. If there are corrections to any version we use, it’s because new research has shown deviations in the originals, based on archeological or actual scripts coming to light. How about you take your Bible and compare it to the NWT and see what you think instead of spreading misinformation. When we preach in public, WE actually ask the person to use their own Bible to compare what we are saying; most of the responses are that they are shocked ours is verbatim of theirs.

Who receives worship that the Old testament clearly says is only due God. JW make the Father a co-signer on idle worship (little god), blasphemy. Go to a Bible believing church that believe in the doctrine of the "Trinity" not a cult.
I wish I had your memory and zeal. I suffered unimaginable childhood trauma after my mom divorced because she was tired of being a witness. I was then raised as a catholic by her and her friends. Later on she gave us up back to my dad. He left us in Florida with my aunt and uncle devoted JW. They beat so bad the first month of being there ripped my posters and cops had to come to take us away. I was then placed in foster care. At 39 yrs old I tried finding a place in my fathers heart and Gods heart so I went back to being a witness. Worst thing I could have done. My kids were now feeling traumatized by the constant reminder of Armageddon. I’m disassociated now and don’t believe in religion but I’m still searching for God. Your videos help me shine light on questions I had and they could answer neither could the Catholics. TY

Jesus never said to follow a religion, he said “follow me”. Buy yourself a King James Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to help you find the Truth. When you start reading your own Bible, everything will become clear.

We do get a lot of people who get confrontational, beat up, have our stands and literature torn down, cussed at and in many countries we are thrown in prison. We also do not fight in wars, yet how many “Christian “ denominations war, even with each other. I’m sure there are some who get upset, we are only human, but look at our history and what’s happened to us; purple triangles is a movie about the persecutions during WW2. As a former Army soldier, I’d sure like other Christian’s to follow suit about wars.

Interesting how this poor man is scrabbling around trying to find a scripture to contradict another scripture that he is being pressed on. A classic tactic by Jehovah’s Witnesses when they can’t answer a straight question; they merely seek to ‘muddy’ the water and go off on a tangent quoting obscure Bible references, completely out of context, in order to put the questioner off. I’m not suggesting that this was deliberate, but merely the way these cult members have to deal with defending their false doctrines; that is with false arguments.

Didn’t know the society is ok with them saying “God Bless You”? In the 80’s and 90’s and when I left in the early 2000’s you was looked down on of you said it.

Jehovah is a later name. I do not believe this is the correct name for the Biblical God. Firstly the alphabet "J" was not in the old Hebrew language. Secondly "hova" in Hebrew means destruction. So the Bible God is not one of destruction/calamities but Satan is. I believe the correct name is YAHWEH "havah" in Hebrew means life giving so Yah is the life giving God. Also many of the Hebrew names end or begin with Yah not Jeh e.g Yermemiah, Zephaniah, Isaiah.

Sometimes, scripture can be harsh to the ears. No one said following the ten commandment scripture is easy. I relate to your debates in this manner. At first, I was skeptical, feeling you were being judgemental. Telling people they were going to hell. But then I realized you were just stating scripture. Which has to be understood and said. Was a former JW but left for a different reason. I came later to Christ because I still believe in God. Later watching on TH-cam preachers like Dorre love, David Lynn, and a few others all mention it’s not about religion it’s about having a relationship with God with Jesus. I’m still learning how to form and mostly because of laziness I’ll admit that. It’s a habit I have to break but back in July of 2020 I prayed to God to help me, I cried to him and asked for his forgiveness and accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and since that day I felt my self loathing decreasing, depression has decreased and anxiety I don’t experience as much aside from dealing with exams from school lol. I have to this stopped watching porn and still struggle. I still struggle with other sins mainly fornication. I currently live with my fiancé and it’s something that is a struggle.

I'm sitting here with someone I care deeply for. She became vehemently enraged when I attempted to explain that JWs use another translation. She repeatedly told me I was calling her stupid and all kinds of other things and no matter how many times I tried to tell her they do not use the KJV, she said that they do use THAT version! I told her that Truth is truth and fiction is fiction and opinion is opinion but they aren't mutually interchangeable. It just made her get angrier and angrier. So, I failed miserably to get her to even start to listen to any kind of truth about the Christ's deity or any other lie the JW teach and now I feel horrible. Wish I knew what to do to help her. I guess she is more concerned with being right than being right with God.

@@rachellejones1361 Do you not know that the New World Translation is a new English writing based on the KJV. Fun fact, in the JW app, we can load the KJV right along with the NWT and compare the text while researching scriptures. There are also other versions that can be used too.
When I was studying, prior to being baptized, I compared the RCC Bible I have, the KJV (3 versions) and interlinear bibles because I was told many lies about what JWs use. Maybe go to one meeting or even a remote session with this person you speak of and see for yourself. If there are corrections to any version we use, it’s because new research has shown deviations in the originals, based on archeological or actual scripts coming to light.
How about you take your Bible and compare it to the NWT and see what you think instead of spreading misinformation.
When we preach in public, WE actually ask the person to use their own Bible to compare what we are saying; most of the responses are that they are shocked ours is verbatim of theirs.

I wish I had your memory and zeal. I suffered unimaginable childhood trauma after my mom divorced because she was tired of being a witness. I was then raised as a catholic by her and her friends. Later on she gave us up back to my dad. He left us in Florida with my aunt and uncle devoted JW. They beat so bad the first month of being there ripped my posters and cops had to come to take us away. I was then placed in foster care. At 39 yrs old I tried finding a place in my fathers heart and Gods heart so I went back to being a witness. Worst thing I could have done. My kids were now feeling traumatized by the constant reminder of Armageddon. I’m disassociated now and don’t believe in religion but I’m still searching for God. Your videos help me shine light on questions I had and they could answer neither could the Catholics. TY

@@joeventre538 As a former catholic, who is now a JW, there’s a reason we walk away. JWs are trying to be non confrontational and getting into fights, shot, or thrown into prison still happens, all for preaching the word.

JWs take it as confrontational as soon as someone questions their doctrine. We simply as you keep an open mind, ask yourself if there is a possibility JWs could be wrong? Is it possible?
@@kawehionalaniI witness weekly and have not seen any of my brothers or sisters get confrontational, but the exact opposite and it’s something preached about and in our weekly training. We do get a lot of people who get confrontational, beat up, have our stands and literature torn down, cussed at and in many countries we are thrown in prison. We also do not fight in wars, yet how many “Christian “ denominations war, even with each other. I’m sure there are some who get upset, we are only human, but look at our history and what’s happened to us; purple triangles is a movie about the persecutions during WW2. As a former Army soldier, I’d sure like other Christian’s to follow suit about wars.

I love these live debates. Its great to see how Sam corners the JWs into either admitting Jesus is Jehovah or the Bible is full of contradictions. Hopefully they study Sam's points and come to know the truth for the glory of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Interesting how this poor man is scrabbling around trying to find a scripture to contradict another scripture that he is being pressed on. A classic tactic by Jehovah’s Witnesses when they can’t answer a straight question; they merely seek to ‘muddy’ the water and go off on a tangent quoting obscure Bible references, completely out of context, in order to put the questioner off. I’m not suggesting that this was deliberate, but merely the way these cult members have to deal with defending their false doctrines; that is with false arguments.

Many scriptures say differently. Be firm, be confident, and willing to defend your position, but surely acting like a teacher scolding a student is far below being an agape type of love…..

The way I see it, if the Son isn't God then the Father is not God either. The term, father and son means to be a class of being.
I believe in the Trinity, I just find challenging why the Holy Ghost does not have a throne or not given worship like the Father and Son.
Didn’t know the society is ok with them saying “God Bless You”? In the 80’s and 90’s and when I left in the early 2000’s you was looked down on of you said it.

I watched this program or whatever it is and there was a man and a woman and they reminded me of talk show hosts and it was all gospel JW propaganda music. It was weird but the religion has changed a lot.
@@daviddaniel2198 I haven't been out for more than a year. If they are saying it, they are definitely getting weird looks about it. And it's still officially not ok. As far as gospel, they do have cringeworthy music videos and things now.

So i tried bringing up the whole "first and last" scriptures to a JW. They sarcastically replied "what they can't use the same title for two different persons? So I guess when Isaiah calls Cyrus my shepherd and the Psalmist calls God my shepherd that means Cyrus is Yahweh?"

Jehovah is a later name. I do not believe this is the correct name for the Biblical God. Firstly the alphabet "J" was not in the old Hebrew language. Secondly "hova" in Hebrew means destruction. So the Bible God is not one of destruction/calamities but Satan is. I believe the correct name is YAHWEH "havah" in Hebrew means life giving so Yah is the life giving God. Also many of the Hebrew names end or begin with Yah not Jeh e.g Yermemiah, Zephaniah, Isaiah.

Sometimes, scripture can be harsh to the ears. No one said following the ten commandment scripture is easy. I relate to your debates in this manner. At first, I was skeptical, feeling you were being judgemental. Telling people they were going to hell. But then I realized you were just stating scripture. Which has to be understood and said. Was a former JW but left for a different reason. I came later to Christ because I still believe in God. Later watching on TH-cam preachers like Dorre love, David Lynn, and a few others all mention it’s not about religion it’s about having a relationship with God with Jesus. I’m still learning how to form and mostly because of laziness I’ll admit that. It’s a habit I have to break but back in July of 2020 I prayed to God to help me, I cried to him and asked for his forgiveness and accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and since that day I felt my self loathing decreasing, depression has decreased and anxiety I don’t experience as much aside from dealing with exams from school lol. I have to this stopped watching porn and still struggle. I still struggle with other sins mainly fornication. I currently live with my fiancé and it’s something that is a struggle.
It’s good to self reflect. Was a catholic, War in the Army, and I went the opposite way. My local priest could not answer my scripture questions that I had learned from the JWs. There is a reason why the RCC (Pope) forbids using YHWH and Jehovah in worship and song. Psalm 34:3, Isaiah 56:6, Isaiah 52:5, Psalm 44:20, Mark 13:13, Jer 23:27
If you were a JW, you know we are commanded to use his name. Jesus even exhaulted his name. That is the first step in knowing if man is trying to deceive you.

I was genuinely shocked when the JW said, "Jesus", when Sam asked, "Who did they see?" I wanted to hear his debate if he said Jehovah, because I can guarantee that is what my dad would say. I believe I know what Sam would have said, but maybe I don't-you know?
If this was a battle it would have been an ass whopping.. But we are believers and so we pray that everybody can receive the Holy spirit so that he reveals the true Jesus for our salvation.
