I love this series, Stella is such an interesting character: A young queen with a kind heart but taught to be closed off and cruel, yet in love with a listener who at first doesn't know how to cope with this difficult new world other than running away or getting drunk, but over time he returns her feelings and tries to be the king he was meant to be. It's a shame we won't see more from this duo, but every story needs an ending. Thank you Nyan for such a great daydreaming material!:

I always kinda wanted to find out if this Queen character would actually make/ learn to be a good mother, since she needs a dynasty. Was sad that there was never a follow up for that. Thank you for slapping all these audios together in one master collection. It makes it so much easier to listen to.

This has not gone unappreciated by any of us, and especially by me because I never quite got the timeline correct, despite rewatching these audios almost a dozen times each regarding the main instalments. P.s: I remember that your non-medieval audios don't receive the same view count, and I have an idea about that. Is there any way you can think of that could make an audio feel like a medieval audio to those who want it to, but not to those who don't want it to be? Even though this would still be somewhat restrictive, you might also create something that you enjoy which has not been done before.

Perhaps someone could enlighten me, but I don't see how this is a happy ending. The listener was essentially forced to marry with a gun to their head, treated with no agency of their own as the Queen's tool for more power, and forced to kill an untold amount of their own people in a hostile takeover. Despite what gentleness she gave the listener, she rules with cruelty and canonically enjoys the suffering of others and the smell of burning flesh, who the listener only fell for due to Stockholm Sundrome. Don't get me wrong, truly amazing voice acting. The way the Queen is portrayed only makes her more unlikable, like how you can applaud Jack Gleeson for how much he makes you hate his character of Jeoffery in Game of Thrones.
That’s not what Stockholm syndrome means. That term is so overused. There is never a romantic relationship in Stockholm Syndrome. It’s only platonic. It can go from there into a romantic relationship but not always.
For what it is the performance is quite good. The story is definitely entertaining but the dynamic between the Queen and her prisoner king is both as strained as it is strange. She says she loves him but no one who REALLY loves someone could do the things she does. He’s nothing more than an uneducated, untrained, whiner who’s led around by the nose. No self worth, no self respect. The man who raised him that she keeps captive would never want the boy he raised to be held prisoner because of his life. All this without even mentioning the fact her father (who she loves dearly) killed his entire family. The absolute hatred he should have for her simply isn’t there. That said, her voice and acting are both exceedingly well done. The only way this should have ended would have been with him acting as if he loved her only to end her life at the close. Even if some part of him truly loved her the only way he could possibly redeem his parents, his people, and himself can only come with her death..
