2020 Mercedes GLE 350 rear brake pad replacement

Changing rear brake pads on a 2020 Mercedes GLE 350 with the AMG appearance package. The brake pads are hard to find aftermarket, so I posted a clip in this video with the OEM number so you can find these easier and save some money searching by the right part number.
OEM pads are $300....

Great Job on replacing break pads....crazy that you have to on newer cars program computer that you replace brak pads

Get used to it! On Audi, you need to use a scanner to to this (at least 2010 era). Mercedes has a way to do this from the dash which is nice actually.

That's weird there was sensor only on one side...

What happens if we forget to set it into that mode because we didn't know this and now I can't get the park brake to release all I did was unbolt the caliper and unplug the connector to the epb

Might try reinstalling with old pads, plugging that back in, and then using the dash settings to retract.

Question was those piston pushed or turned back to normal position I'm asking because I have a C clamp and I seen those before where there actually turn instead of pushing
