There are four tiny dots that pop up on the bottom right hand side of the photos screen. Press on them & several options pop up including "trash". Make sure you're not sending anything to trash first, then open trash & your deleted items should be on your screen. Press the half circle looping backwards to restore each photo you want back.

The thing is that when I connect my device with my PC, the device is no detected under "External drives". I tried several things, but no success.
