yes, if you have purposefully overridden the empty space with 0 and 1, then it will not work.
Voiding the chances of data recovery is the purpose of that 3-pass algorithm that you talked about.

I connected my laptop with mobile for file transfer. But suddenly the camera folder itself got deleted via laptop. Ok here is my problem. I tried to download a mobile game but it ended up putting way too many folders of random game files scattered on my phone and I spent an entire day deleting them. We can not tell it bro only way is to follow the steps and see if the file is still available....(in general the deleted file is overridden by some of the subsequent files, that may happen tomorrow or in some cases after 3 months ....no one can tell when it will happen...it depends on usage as well....let say it happens....then you can not recover that file)
I tried these steps and apps. Tried other apps, as well. They just keep recovering the same weird 8 photos I don't even remember having on my phone.
For the record, I foolishly emptied the "recent" photo album on my phone, and emptied the trash afterward, not knowing it would delete everything. I'm so bummed. I would love to retrieve those photos.

When i open file manager it wont load deleted photos

Brother - pls do not contact any spammers, if you have low resolution file, that is what is available (un erased) may be the main file is already wiped by your next set of files and activity.
You can try all the options in the video. and then if you can mount your phone to PC, then try the video in the comments section (pinned comment)
