Krishnamurti Sir has a good and easy way of using everyday language to explain his teachings👏💯👌
I have had a few friends die recently. Unexpectedly. I considered their life and their struggles. Ramana Maharshi once said, a passenger on the train keeps his own load on his head. Let him put it down. He will find the load reaches it's destination anyway.
At times the load is just imagined and all that is carried "forward" is the passender. Trying to safely carry an egoic mind over time and beyond is like fighting windmills which are mere Fata Morganas: nothing to fight for or against as such, even if they existed, and if they don't even exist it's double insanity. Tricks the mind plays and is quick to make it look real and of importance till all revolves around ir.
Much ado about nothing.
One's lifelong struggle to become is a lifelong struggle to become and remain accepted, feel as is we belong (with others as well as within the greater herd we call society), and to be loved. For perhaps many of us, we are continually "re-inventing" ourselves because we have been denied or rejected; because of the pain we experience from becoming lonely and isolated.

Thank you Krishnaji 🙏🙏❤️
Wonderful.
Impersonal observation.

Like Hamlet of Shakespeare , ' To be or not to be ', in Vedantha we have ' To be or To become'.
'To be 'is the answer.
To be the mere consciousness is the answer.
We are already that consciousness in waking, dream & sleep states.
That is permanent.
To become something is temporary.
