What a perfect Central European travelogue. Trains, stations, rain, coffee, beer, tiny sleeping compartments, professionalism, meticulousness, pleasant accent and not one smile on any of the photos! ;) can't wait for the next parts, love the format, great to have you here from a Varsovian subscriber :)

For quite a while you’ve been explaining things to us that we had never even thought about but are now happy that you have elucidated for us. Now with your first dive into trip report territory, you even threw in a bomb scare! I can’t wait to see what you add next to your repertoire, and I’m sure it will surprise and inform us. Thank you and kudos for all you do.

Hello from Polish subscriber (or "Hej!" in Polish)! As a person who discovered your channel recently, I got extremely keen on your way of explaining the characteristics of railway transport. I hope I'd make up all of your previous videos 😅
Greetings from Silesia metropolitan area, it's nice to see there are many more train transport fans ❤
P.S.: don't worry about the delay. Warsaw's authorities undertake a huge project of rebuilding the city railway intermodal junction. It might last as long as a few years, currently all of the elements of rebuilding are planned until 2030.

I really enjoyed your first trip report video and would love to see more. It combines your usual excellent factual explanations with the excitement of a long journey. It was interesting to get an idea of the things you saw and did along the way. Keleti station looks really beautiful and appreciated getting such a good look at it.

Very good travel description! I do prefer the part with voice-over to the part spoken live, because the selection of images is much better and consequential.

Thanks for the trip report, I'm pretty sure railfans and many others appreciate your future efforts. There can be a lack of interest from the English-speaking train world in the affairs of that eastern part of Europe, so I am glad to hear more about it. Also, very great to see those model trains being used to explain the different coaches of the train! I still have my Roco trains with me.

It was different to the usual videos, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It sounded like an enjoyable albeit long trip, though your time in Vienna sounded a bit chaotic towards the end. I'd love to see you release more content like this across Europe. You should defo come over to the UK for that matter and do a trip report on the Eurostar, the LNER service on the East Coast Mainline from London to Leeds/Scotland or maybe on the West Coast services from London to Liverpool/Manchester/Glasgow. Either way, keep up the good work. I can't wait to see more of these trip reports.👍

Loved the video, thanks! Glad you caught the PKP service!!!!! Once in VIE the departures board showed my long distance service was cancelled…. Went to the office to ask wth, what am I supposed to do (along with dozens of others) and the staff said, oh don’t worry it’s just an IT glitch, the train will arrive soon. Funny, what if i left the station like you did during the police procedure? 😅😅 they must work on their communication.

The old photo of train station in vienna shows a building demolished with the 2nd world war or something. The last building there was ugly but historically precious, from the 50ties...

Actually to get from Warsaw city center to Chopin Airport you'd need only a 4.4 PLN (1 €) ticket valid for 75 minutes in zone 1. The journey takes about 30 minutes 😎
That 7 PLN ticket is needed if you want to travel to neighboring cities (zones 1+2).

You're welcome. Regarding Belgrade-Budapest, current deadline is end of 2025. Part from Belgrade to border with Croatia is under designing. It will be completed by the of this year. Currently, funds are not yet obtained for works execution. This part will be also for a speed of up to 200 km/h. If money is obtained i n next year or so, works can be completed in 2028.

Great first try at a trip report. I'd definitely like to see more. I was less interested in the things that happened to you (like going to the pub, bomb scare and being delayed) and would prefer to have more facts/information about the places, stations and railway systems, and perhaps what you liked/didn't like about them. I think a little bit of "story" about your trip is fine, but I'm not sure how well it works trying to mix two different types of video into one? It was like half vlog, half factual, perhaps two shorter videos might work better, or maybe what was strange was that you did your normal factual voiceover to a vlog, and maybe it would have felt more interesting if you had spoken on-camera or we heard the real sound and you saying things like "so, we've just been evacuated from the station, we don't know why, but we're going to have to find a hotel". That might feel a bit more "vlog", if you know what I mean? If I could suggest 2 channels I've been enjoying recently (for inspiration), Superalbs Travels and Linke Kever (from Netherlands). Also you probably know about Geoff Marshall and Jago Hazzard. Anyway, well done!
