- In this video I show you a few locations where you can find free, powerful weapons in Zelda Breath of the Wild. Ran out of weapons and need to stock up? Fear not, I've got you covered. These weapons will all respawn during a blood moon, so you can keep coming back for more.

He didnt mention it in the video but you can get the 'tree branch weapon' by cutting down most trees.

That gives me a reason to not complain about the blood moon
My favorite thing about blood moons is how they respawn Guardians so I can go farm them all again (it's not too hard; get a three shot bow, some ancient arrows, get up close and then land a solid body shot with all three arrows and bam! One-shot any guardian. You just have to make sure that it'll be a full body shot, as hitting legs or propellers won't work for the instakill).
You can parry their beam attack as well.
Seth B or shoot them in the eye with a single shot weapon with an an ancient arrow
@@5awdust i stun them with a normal arrow to the eye and then destroy the legs so it cant move. upgraded stasis is really good too

You can also farm the Tests of strength for Gaurdian Weapons after each blood moon

Good tip: Go to the Major ones and make Electricity traps, easiest way to farm their weapons.
[Elec traps are made like this;]
1): Grab a Thunderblade (either one)
2): Slash it, and mid-slash, go to your inv and unequip
3): Drop a metal thing on top of it.
If you did it right, there should be electricity running through the metal item you dropped on the Thunderblade, and if you (or something else) steps on it, well, ELECTRICITY!
4:02 Warning on this one. When you jump off the tower you will be targeted by one of the decayed guardians that surround the area, even in the air. You will need to dodge their blasts both in the air and on the ground, until your out of it's sight or range.
When in the air, if they are about to shoot and their lasers are down to the dot, just undeploy and deploy the glider to go down, avoiding their attack. Don’t try to shoot them midair, unless you have jacked stamina stats, otherwise you’re going to run out of stamina before you reach the area. Hope this helps!

Step 1: Make sure you’re in master mode
Step 2. Head to the old mans house on the great plateau
Step 3. On the way there you will see a white lynel
Step 4. Kill the white lynel and take his weapon
Step 5. If you actually managed to kill the lynel then what the fuck was the 78 damage weapon for?, you obviously don’t need it

Friendly reminder, “Test of Strength” shrines also respawn during a blood moon, so have fun stocking up on guardian weapons.

Note - For the Gerudo Highlands weapon deposit, there is also a metal boulder on top of the thing that you can push in to open the cave.

On top of the cave, there is a magnet rock. Grab it with your magnet and then just smash on the rocks. They won't break, you just push them into the cave. A trick to not damage your weapons, I hope I could help anyone.

that was me a month or two ago all my weapons broken and I struggled to get some but then I found lots of good weapons that do lots of damage so I moved on with the game
And here I thought the Great Flame Blade was a rare weapon that you got for beating the Major Test of Strength, but it's in so many places :V
ALSO THAT ROYAL CLAYMORE! I went to that tower and used it like 7 times but never thought to climb the skull thing, I missed out on such a strong weapon super early in my game!

Farosh probably because he is thunder. Naydra is ice and near lanayru. But Dinraal the fire dragon from Eldin comes closest to that area. Farosh is near Faron and lake hylia

In the main "cities" you find pretty good weapons too. At Zora's domain you can always find chests with the Zora's set of shield and bow and the sword behind the shrine... I love them. And also the Gerudo bow is useful.
where are the chests specificaly?
There's a Royal Claymore that respawns on Mt. Satori as well on the ground near the Stalnox. You can sneak in and snatch it without it ever seeing you.

1:28 instead of stasis, I found a metal boulder on top of the cave entrance. I push it down, use magnesis, then push it through to open the cave. May take more time but saves on the weapon durability. Also, I know a couple places to find flame and ice specific weapons. You can find the great frostblade and the great flameblade in the hyrule castle and most of the elemental gear you can find at the colosseum. The hard part may be getting out of there since Link can't climb upside down but I managed by a hole through a wall.
if you move/push the smaller boulders out of the way and crouch down you can get in that way as well. I love how there are so many different ways to reach the same outcome in this game.

You can also find the great flameblade from ancient tree stump that is near mount daphnes which you can reach from either the kaam ya'tak shrine or the central tower. When you are on mount daphnes you can find a korok by putting an apple in the statue thing you will see. I hope this helps :)
4:30 Be warned, if you attack those guys in a way that causes them to drop their weapons, they can and will pick up the Flame Blade and use it against Link. Not only does that make it more dangerous, you might lose the weapon if you knock them over the side.
Ooh. You should have mentioned the Zora Longsword behind the shrine in Zora City.
It isn't as powerfull and on top of that , it is a two handed sword

At the first location I just found even more weapons just to pick up!.
I glided west on my way to farm stealthfin trout in Lake Mekar when I spotted a knights Claymore from the sky just lying around near the northern point of the smaller pound. On top of that I found a knight and a soldier Broadsword very near and difficult to miss. Was a very nice surprise to stumble on accidentally, especially just after picking up the Royal Claymore showed in this video.

I know I’m late but at the Tabantha Tower at the base near three Black Moblins there is a Royal Claymore plus other weapons including “Rusty” weapons.

Any item that you find normally on the overwolrd does respawn after bloodmoon. It's only the chests that don't ;)
another weapon that’s easy to get is the silver longsword, located behind the ne’ezm yohma shrine in zora’s domain.

Awesome video! Def to be getting those weapons. The only ones I knew about was the great thunder blade and then the fire one under the skeleton.
Another great tip is that all the guardians from the shrines spawn again too. It's probably the best way to get their weapons and farm parts for the armor :)
The best thing about getting all the weapons he mention is that I explore land at the same time.

You can find a great wooden stick near the shrine of resurrection.
thanks, you are lifesaver. Sometimes I am in situations I don't have weapons to defeat enemies to get weapons, it's a vicious cycle.
I just go to the Lynel temple thing near the plateau, on the three upper layers there are easy kill moblins (maybe mid game). Each layer has a different element, the moblins (sometimes others) have a weapon of that element, they can have buffs a lot of the time and they will hold a shield if they are also holding a one-handed weapon
Also they all face one direction (rotation wise and only on that level) so you can get stealth armor and sneak attack them all

This is helpful. I found a fireblade near the Divine peaks ranch by the small waterfall. It's in a chest. Managed to find a lot of powerful weapons and I'm beating Silver Bokoblin like I have been naturally doing it before.

Ty so much! I spend a whole hour trying to get to Gerudo tower climbing endless cliffs, dying, doing it all over again, and dying again, but at last it was all worth it.
I'm a little bit more than halfway through the game but I have only defeated two of the four Divine beasts. when I go to the Coliseum to get all of the elemental weapons none of the enemies are carrying elemental weapons at this time. They are all carrying regular metal weapons. I'm checking back frequently after I finish the next Divine Beast or two to see when they will switch to Elemental Weapons. You may want to make a note of that in the video or at the top of the comment section. great information. Thanks for posting

I haven't played Zelda so much since my Nintendo 64, my fave game of all time, Ocarina of Time. Having tips to make game play less stress, more fun, is awesome.

I remember early game when I was younger, I found a regular Flameblade and it was my most prized possession. I threw a fit when my sister used it to kill a Stalnox for me. I did not know Great Flameblades existed. I did not know weapons respawned.

For anyone that can't beat the zora Lynel boss, u can get a ancient battle axe++ guardian spear++ and a guardian sword++ at the Chaas Qeta Shrine south of the Hateno Tech Lab

THANK YOU! Seriously! The breakable weapons have been the most challenging part of the game.
Go to the Coliseum. Problem solved, you just got 10 elemental weapons.
EDIT: You can climb to the top of the Coliseum using the mountain that it next to it, allowing you to sneak in a sneak-attack every enemy inside for some free equipment (Elemental Weapons).
The Coliseum is very awesome, I included it in my next one. :) You only get the elemental weapons if you've done all 4 divine beasts though, otherwise it's royal or lower, but still a great spot. I definitely like coming in from the top too.

Instead,...go to hyrule castle & get the royal guard weapons! Which are way better!
The durability makes that set not worth it at all for the damage. Good for about 10 hits, then it just breaks on you. Everything in that set is affected by low durability, so in the end, I would personally never get a Royal Guard weapon.

SNACK_TIME !!!! Well he had Revali's gale. Also there's stamina restoring food.
There's a statue you can 'sell' hearts and stamina to for rupees, or buy them back for a little bit more.
There's a good chance he sold some hearts and/or stamina to the statue for the video to show that even low levels can reach these weapons.
By not sucking.
