    Haven't been on an interview in years as I have only had a few positions in my life....most recommended and referred by others get my foot all the way in the door. Now here I am...this is rather tough to get into. I really appreciate your help with the process. 😊

    Wow, thank you Abby!! I had never thought about this interview question (like this). I'd viewed a video on this interview question, but I never got the point of setting up the answer (this way). This is awesome, and I'm so glad I watched this video. Thank you again Abby.

    Hi, any chance you could do a short interview with me ? I'm about to interview for the VA as an RN, and the interview will be done differently in this setting than any i've ever done before

    Hi Abigail, This is my first time receiving an interview for a specific role - when you say "specific examples" does this mean story time, or just offer the transferable skills and related statistics?

    • @LifeWorkBalance
      @LifeWorkBalance  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Emma! In general, I would leave the "story time" for your CAR/STAR response to behavioral questions. For your answer to "tell me about yourself," this is more of a high level introduction. You may want to mention glimpses of stories, but you want to keep your response to 3 minutes or less.
      Overall, each answer to every question is a story, even your answer to "tell me about yourself." You want to ensure your story is relevant to the question, that you share just enough relevant information, and you don't ramble or provide unnecessary information that leaves the interviewer confused.
      I hope this helps!

    How do u talk about the present when you quit it because you got burnt out and you’re looking for something else to do

    • @LifeWorkBalance
      @LifeWorkBalance  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      GREAT question. Check out this video for more specifics: th-cam.com/video/Q5_REDeRvyc/w-d-xo.html
      I think you can talk about WHO you are during the "present" portion of your answer. That removes the requirement to talk about present work if you aren't currently employed.
