Rhombo barbs are my favorite. Haven't been able to find them in large quantities to see how they act. I want to get 20 minimum with 20 veil tail cherry barbs in a heavily plant a tank.

Is thr Denison barb the meanest of them?
Great underrated barb, is the black ruby barb. Thier breeding colors are phenomenal. I have a school of 18 in with about 20 cherry barbs in a 75. Watching them create thier separate schools is fun.

Just stocked 7 denison's in my six foot 150. Also 9 Rhombo snakeskin barbs and eleven gold barbs. Gold barbs are UNDERRATED.

There's a pond here in Florida that is full of rosey Barb's that are every bit of 6" !! I thought they were big goldfish!!! Amazing Barb's!! I'm so thrilled you chose the Denissonii Barb's as #1 they are truly the king of the barbs!!!!

They’re probably invasive and have no predators. They could start to mess stuff up.
I was never interested in Barbs, but I let my five year old son choose the fish for his own tank, and he chose Tiger Barbs and Green Tiger Barbs (and albino corys). So, since there is room, we want more barbs! I'm looking for Black Rubys, but I can't find them in any of my local stores (which makes me want them more)
My favorite are the gold Roseline shark!
I have Green Tiger Barbs and Black Ruby Barbs. They are the only ones my Crayfish won't mess with.

I thought you were just doing your "Cool Jazz Radio" voice. :) I would add Black Ruby Barbs to the list. The males get to a beautiful deep wine color in mating form.
Tiger barbs, if you can get wild caught they are more expensive but much less agressive

I would have switched out the Rosy Barbs and the Cherry Barbs for Filamentus and Mascara Barbs.

Favorite barbs for me not on this list. Pentazona (5 line) barb, checker barb, black ruby barb, striped barb, gold barb/schubert's barb, and rhombo barb.

Ruby barbs I think are actually the most stunning Barb followed closely by the red panda barbs (mid sized barbs anyway) if ruby Barbs were considered rare I would bet they would have a ton more attention! Sorry to but into your comment we just love ruby barbs

Steenfott Aquatics do you wear headphones? Sometimes the audio can be louder with headphones. If you use them you should turn down the volume or play it after editing without them
