  • This is a video of how I made a mud pit out of airsoft bb's. Mainly to show how much bb's you will need and to show you how they perform.

    Hydroton, growing media.. it's round and small and makes for great rocks. Just rinse them good.

    Older video but.. I am currently building an indoor course, wanted to try a mud pit myself.. anyway I found some "clay shingshot ammo" at my local Wally World, $8 for a tub (quart size?) 3/8" diameter, hard and very round ;) $3 for a plastic paint tray (that I'm gonna cut down in size, possibly height) with some obstacles "buried" in it.(ie sticks/ spray foam, stuck to bottom) About $10 for the mud pit.. and if it doesn't work, the ammo will still get used ;)

      Hell yes, that sounds amazing, the mud pit was one of my favorite parts of the indoor course! Great ideas!

    Very cool man! I am digging these little trucks 👊😉👍 I have been using fish tank supplies for a little course, bags of tiny rocks work well. Great vid thanks for sharing 😉

    Oil absorbent (Earth Products) is a really good low traction surface also.

    Looking great man! Thanks for sharing! Sure, you could have jumped in and done what everybody else already did but what’s the fun in that!? I appreciate that you tried something else and shared with us your findings. Sweet rigs. Sweet course. Subbed and hope you have a great day!

    You might end up kicking yourself, but you can also get a very similar type "mud" from using brown rice.

      Thanks for the idea! I’m sure I’ll make another course one day.

      @@DoubleDeeeZSlings Hmm, or you could also just add some to your existing pit, the different piece sizes & surface textures could make it interesting too.

    Has anyone tried lentils? I was looking for a cheaper and more "eco" option and found these. These look like they'd be perfect!

    very kewl setup there my dude. BUT... I gotta say, that trigger happy thottling is just like everyone else who "crawls"... its not crawling.. scale, what would that be like...LOL

    How about popcorn kernels instead of the beans as a cheaper option?🤔

      I did briefly think about that… might just work!

    Is that a ford explore body and if so where did you get it

    • @DoubleDeeeZSlings
      @DoubleDeeeZSlings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes indeed! It was a model kit, it’s a Ford Explorer Highway Patrol, 1/24 scale if I remember correctly. I found it on eBay…
