Watch the video before commenting. This video actually analyzed patriarchy comprehensively along with its effects on both men and women. Explaining how patriarchy is toxic for BOTH men and women. Not only women's disadvantageous position but ALSO negative effects patriarchy poses on men, e.g., social expectations for men to act tough and reject communication when they in fact need to express their feelings as well. it's not men vs women, its us vs patriarchy.

Male enslavement coupled with hyperagency is the reality. Men shoulder the burden and the blame of society.

Although, there's still a lot of blaming going on: "men hurt women" as if the opposite doesn't happen, "men have to take responsibility", this kind of rethoric will only attract masochists.
I shouldn't say this but I'm from a country where gender roles are not so codified, and after seeing this I'm jealous of the male privilege Americans have, I wish I too had some of those priviledges.

That is the truth sounds like you are too insecure and full of ego 2 accept the truth. This guy is just another betta simping to the matriarchy because he can't get laid. This is exactly the type of guy that is an incel and lies to women trying to champion their rights thinking that will be his path to getting a woman. Neuroplasticity is repetition+emotion, so anything you do, think, with that combo, is programmed into your subconscious. It has nothing to do with whether it is reality or not.
      Don’t believe everything you think.
Learn to use introspection, metacognition, space, zooming out, to consider. Those who have a strong fear program (and therefore usually larger amygdala…which, if an fMRI scan was done on you, it would likely reveal this)…state comments like yours.
You sound threatened, fearful, and in a cognitive distortion (which I actually saw proof of a few in your comments).
“Othering” women as a means to assert your imagined superiority, is simplistic, base, and unevolved.
Basically, it’s the emotional/psychological capabilities of a toddler, or young teen. Those age groups function on mostly emotional reasoning. Many people get arrested development in these ages, because they don’t learn to grow beyond.
Your whole comment screams of a narcissistic wound, deep insecurity, and an inability to consider, digest, all the complexities of life and individuals.
I imagine the confirmation biases at play, keep you blind to all the contributions of women to science, medicine, etc, and those who are self sufficient (as self sufficient as many men)… it seems the extraordinary complexity of all the variables and multitudes of combinations is overwhelming to you. So to resolve the cognitive dissonance you’ve decided to make its simple and certain…even if it’s way off the realm of reality.
To categorize any group of people, who numbers in the billions, is blind at best.
Many men are also very helpless…many men have also depended greatly on women for many things.

"Men's reluctance to open themselves fully to vulnerability or alternative masculinities, is based far more on fear of being vulnerable to other men, or being seen as insufficiently manly, than on worries on how they may be viewed by women."
Horseshit, at least in my experience. It's actually the opposite. Opening myself up, and bleeding my heart out to women, especially in a romantic context, made them less intrested and more apathetic towards me. On the other hand, I've had profound bonding experiences with other men, sharing our problems and thoughts.

  • @GoJojo-lv6zi
    @GoJojo-lv6zi ปีที่แล้ว +20

Thank you. It’s not women who don’t receive men’s vulnerability well (misogynistic men just use that excuse to further avoid accountability for their own lack of emotional intelligence and expression), it’s other men. Heterosexual women know this from our shared experiences as our significant others’ therapists and shoulders to cry on because they refuse to go to one and their closest friends won’t be one to them.
Men oppress each other with patriarchy but constantly blame women for their struggles. A great example of how women and men differ in oppressing each other through gender roles is how accepting women are of lesbian and butch women. We see, understand, and are in relationship with countless women who differ from us in sexuality and gender expression - yet we still consider them women. A butch lesbian is still a woman even if she is dates women and is entirely masculine. Her expression of her womanhood as masculine doesn’t threaten our our feminine or heterosexual identities. Men can’t say the same. It’s so obvious to us that men gatekeep manhood for other men. If a man expresses himself in a feminine way, he is no longer considered a man - because that threatens other men’s perception of themselves (which is incredibly immature and utterly ridiculous).
Men hold each other back. The majority of male struggles are a direct result of what other men choose to believe, say, and do. Women do nothing but try to survive and thrive in the convoluted patriarchal structures men support, reinforce, and crumble under.
Thank you again for this video.

Gay men are men who behave like women. Who denies or rejects that idea? And gay men rather hang out with women. Why be a bigot and force these men to hang out with other men?

    • @PoussinNoNeko
      @PoussinNoNeko ปีที่แล้ว +3

I agree with the main idea about masculinity, but I don't agree with the cause. If we always blame the wrong culprit, we will for sure alienate the ones who we think we are helping.
The way men interact with each other has little to do with patriarchy or society at large, but mostly with biology and life in a community. If we look at our cousins, the chimps, we can witness this kind of behaviour too. Men are keeping each other in check because they have to stay strong so they can protect their community. They also need to compete with each other to get women's attention, to build strength, and to show they can be leaders. But we also know that real leaders are alpha males who have compassion and have the support of others. So indeed, patriarchy exists naturally, but it is not as toxic as we may think.
As evolved human beings who can have comfort and technology, and we don't need to struggle to survive, now, we can start changing society to become even more civilized. However, if we fail to recognize the root causes for every behaviour, we will never know how to change it without enforcing counter-nature laws and rules.

Masculinity and patriarchy is hurting a lot of men and women. Based on the comments here, I don’t think the men are ready to acknowledge that on a deeper level, the benefits that it provides don’t outweigh all the negative things that come with it. Men and women need to support each other and break free from these limitations that patriarchy has put on us.

Came her on the suggestion from Jesse Dollemore. I'm a disabled but strong willed 61 year old, now having to live with my daughter, grandson & unmarried son in law. Since September, we moved from a rental in mine & my daughters name, to a rent to own in his name. He also lost his dad last year. Suddenly, EVERY conflict, from household chores to money, quickly devolves into his angry response of " this is my f**cking house, YOU can get out". Needless to say, this terrifies me. It also ignores 36 years of my daughter & I struggling together for our mutual benefit. All my attempts to bring light to the power dynamic being played out result in anger & denial. I fear that without addressing this, their relationship & our financial security, will continue to devolve. I also don't like the message this embeds in my 13 year old grandson as this guy is the first father figure he's had. I'm trying to create a work around, I realize the vulnerabilities that are showing in the "my way or the highway" mentality. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Great talk & will look for the book you referenced.

      @UnityFromDiversity 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

He who takes responsibility gets authority. Be thankful you are not homeless, shelter is not free!
      Diversity VS Supremacy?
The left believers that there is a role not just for freedom, but also for love, in the institution(s) of government that regulate human affairs, that human life is valuable, that we, as a society, have obligations to our fellow man, that we as a society should take a little from those who have been extraordinarily blessed & give to those who bad fortune has fallen on, to those who are in great need...
      Men and women are different(Diversity).
Women are born with the privilege of sexual capital. An ordinary man will spend their entire lives trying to get this sexual capital that women take for granted, and most will fail. When a man chooses a bad woman to immigrate into his life, he can genuinely say he didn't have any other choice to meet his social, sexual & emotional needs. When a woman chooses a "bad boy" to immigrate into her life, she almost certainly had many better options. Women need to improve their immigration policy!
To meet their socio-sexual needs, men have to climb the hierarchy of needs:
      1 Safety needs
      2 Food and Water needs
      3 Shelter needs
      4 Socio-sexual needs
In (1) safety needs, men die of assault/homicide more than women, have workplace deaths/injuries 10x more than women, and commit suicide 4x more often than women. Women live an average of 6 years longer than men. Men need help!
Yet as a society we tax from men to give to women? Because supposedly women have greater "needs" for safety & security...?
In (2) food and water needs, women are smaller and need less food to survive, yet women are more likely than men to be overweight.
Yet as a society we tax from men to give to women because women "need" more food to fatten them up...?
In (3) shelter needs, 71% of the homeless are men, yet 84% of those on housing vouchers are women.
Yet as a society we tax from men to give to women because women "need" housing...?
In (4) social and sexual needs, a man who has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of products & services to his community by working a $45K/year job for years or even decades will have 1/100th the socio-sexual capital of a 25 lbs overweight women 20 years past peak fertility, who is living at home with her parent(s) with no job, no car, no income, no assets, and $50K of student loan debt.
Yet as a society we tax from men to give to women because women "need" more than the socio-sexual capital monopoly they already have...?
The wage gap studies feminists often speak of is increasingly disappearing, & the more variables analyzed in the studies the more the gap disappears. Given infinite variables, the gap would likely disappear completely! And it gets worse. Those studies only look at people who are employed. They neglect to notice that men are more likely to be unemployed than women, & when those excluded "zero" outliers are included in wage averages men make less than women. But it gets worse still. As women are physically smaller, they have smaller needs in every category in the hierarchy of needs. Women are safer than men, living longer and being less likely to be assaulted overall. Women are smaller than men so they need smaller food rations, smaller clothing expenses, smaller beds in smaller bedrooms in smaller houses, smaller cars with better gas millage & smaller car insurance bills!
The only thing that is really "needed" in society is checks & balances on female greed & abuse of reproductive sexual capital/power. We used to have this in traditional marriage.
The patriarchy community is united around the idea that sex should only be within traditional marriage. Thus, if economic support is needed for children or other sexually derived liabilities, a cosigning support group in the family & friends of the bride and groom has already been voluntarily assembled & the innocent need not be taxed. The feminism community is united around having sex outside of marriage with a involuntarily coerced (taxed) support group. Let the patriarchy community pay for its liabilities, & let the feminists pay for theirs!
A tyrant has authority without responsibility.
A slave has responsibility without authority.
Today marriage, as re-defined by the female democratic majority and family court system, makes the man a slave to a tyrant wife, who can divorce him at will, breaking vows, stealing his children, his wealth, and his pride while leaving him with the liabilities of the former union.
Most women want to have sex with high status "bad boys" outside of marriage and get innocent men to pay for the consequences(abortions, kids ect.). That's why women, no matter how "meritocratic", should never vote. Meritocracy assumes trust and loyalty, & sadly most women are disloyal.
As stated above, most women live longer than most men. Most women vote longer than most men. Most politicians cater to the majority, which is feminine, with female biased policies. This is gynocracy. This is female supremacy. This is cancer, and there is no cure. The strategic political battles were fought and lost more than 100 years ago.
Show me a man who takes by force what he wants from a women and I'll show you 100 women who vote to take by force what they want from men. Show me a grave created by patriarchy and I'll show you an entire graveyard created by feminism/communism.
"Any society that negates the role of the father in the voluntarily marriage contract from decent civilization building men and replaces it with a involuntary centralized welfare state will not remain civilized for long."

the evidense lies in all places in our lives. That men remarry after divorce fast, while woman live as single as a choise. Men are happiest when married, woman are happiest unmarried without children.
Men after years of marrige tends to have lost their ability to run their lives, bcus the heavy workload of making a home, feeding family, keeping social connections, making plans, bying clothes, fixing clothes, remebering apointments, the emotional labor in love relationships, all this i often left for the woman, so when she leavs ( bcus the formationd extreme unpaid work and non-listnening husband) the man is left in a chaos, and soon he hava a new wife, while the woman is more happy alone. Happiest in relationships are lesbiands and hetrosexuals that speak often and openly about equalety. there is proof in how we live, in how woman carry the relationship without reward or even recognition.

Some problems with patriarchy and relationships: 1. it creates a context where abusive men are given too much power over their partners 2. male authority is often used to avoid having difficult but necessary conversations. However, there's also problems with egalitarianism and relationships, for instance: 1. women lose the opportunity for being closer to their children 2. it problematizes the differences between the sexes rather than celebrating those differences. Basically, it is a matter of perspective.

    John, 2 questions.
    1. Is your position that all psychological differences between men and women is culturally driven? There's no biology at play there?
    2. Can you explain why more femine behavior in male gender roles is a more desirable change than behavior deemed masculine being used by female gender roles? Politics, business, warfare, among other environments seems suited best for personalities that demonstrate personality traits that gravitate more to that masculine realm. Some are even stating it's ideal for a sociopath. so when it comes to female leadership, why is the paradigm requiring a change male behavior instead of female?

The current partiarchy has existed for 10,000 years. It peaked in 1994 when we criminalized abuse and identified women abuse. Patriarchies are great for wars but it is okay to step back and talk about human rights and later rights for consciousness. Positive thinking is recognizing anger and aversion are opportunities to practice forgiveness. We are programmed to have tantrums by enduring 500 generations of interest bearing debt/wars. Forgiveness is recognizing it is not an individual person's fault but side effects from our capitalistic patriarchal society were we fear being taken advantage of.

This has led me to believe that equality, as a goal of feminism is misguided. We don't want to be equal to men as they are existing currently within the patriarchy as they are also oppressed and harmed by this system. We should focus more on eradicating all systems of oppression, starting with the systems that are the most oppressive, rather than trying to be equal to men as they are currently, because my ultimate goal is not to perpetuate suffering in an oppressive system. You will find a lot of people in the comments section who enjoy shooting themselves in the foot with their ideals and their desire to preserve the status quo but i bet there are also people watching this who hear your message so thank you.

Sad that people can't take into account different aspects of what's happening socially and that everything will be blamed on partriarchy. Most of the things that people blames on Patriarchy are in fact another society problem and needs another perspective. Its kinda sad that people just takes every problem that litterally exists and putting it in the Patriarchy box. Women's has more rights than ever, population is free to think and do what they want. Women are actually equal to women. A lot of issues such as the pay gap is associated to "so called Patriarchy". Pay gap betwee men and women is the easiest thing to debunk. There's a minimum of 50 factors explaining it.
      1. Men are willing to work longer hours
      2. Most Workaholic are men
      3. Men works in more dangerous jobs so = +$ an example is men in construction, it pays a lot.
      4. Men and women has different interests and more the society has equality of opportunities, more men and women choose different jobs.
But this is only a bit on pay gap. After there's more societal problems blamed on the fake Patriarchy that can be explained and ask me one if you want. I am not insulting anyone here thinking that Patriarchy exists but it simply doesnt you can engage the conversation with me and I can debunk most of the things blamed on Patriarchy. It gives nothing to calling youself a victim from the patriarchy. I came watching videos on Patriarchy and I just find weird things, most of the people disagrees with this ideas and I cant see a real social expert anywhere on this issue except when debunking it. Ask me one question about an aspect you think it touches Patriarchy and I can debunk it if you want. As long as the conversation is civil and respectful I am willing to have my mind changed and engage a discussion. My discord is alexbaws159#7493.

Wonderful. And it is in my mind a set of a great practical examples for a deep philosophical point, which is that there are no winners in a hierarchy. Those who have been positioned at the top are no freer or happier, because they also have to sacrifice their individual personality to their position.
What makes our life worth living are the times in which we can have true human contact, at least as equals, but ideally without tropes of power or dominance involved at all. Therefore the goal of all political activiasm must be to increase the rate of those, ideally to a hundred percents.

Sure, some people will naturally be better at things than other people but as the system exists not everyone even gets the chance to try to gain skills in the areas that they want to. For example, a man enjoys cutting hair but he is systemically discouraged from this career path by members of his social group, because it is a female dominated profession and he becomes a car salesman instead because it is more palatable to society. This is the kind of oppresion that needs to be eradicated.

Please watch the video "Sex and love in Scandinavia", notice the issues described by the women, who find the males excellent friends and colleagues but unable to cause any sparks of attraction.
Furthermore, loneliness isn't an exclusive male problem, but rather a societal one...and given the very sharp decline of the patriarchal structures I dare say the root cause has more to do with the combination of commercialisation and individualism that took its place.

The U.S. population is topped by women over men. Women's emergency shelters outnumber men's by a margin so wide there might as well not be a comparison. Male suicide in this country is 3.5 times that of women. Child custody inordinately favors the mother. Etc, etc.
Is it really the case that society defers to and cares more for men than it does women? Because if domination and centeredness are the two pillars that support there being a Patriarchy, then there's isn't much of a Patriarchy to be found, on the terms you have given.
Aside from simply saying it is so, what is your evidence for there being a Patriarchy? And following that, what are you doing to combat your own privilege?

First, thanks for watching. Second, I think the statistics you quote, both the fact that women's shelter's outnumber men's and the higher suicide rate of men support the argument I make. In point 5 I speak of the increasing isolation men face and i would add that men are socialized that asking for help is weakness and that we are to "pull our selves up by our bootstraps." These ideas (patriarchal ideas) are, according to your stats, are having very detrimental effects to the lives of men. And as far as women's shelter's go, I would review point to about the cultural sanctioned ways that men are permitted to communicate, with anger being one. Most of those women's shelters I would imagine house women who were in some way escaping violence. I am sure the research would validate. And finally, to your last point. I do try and practice the "small acts" I laid out throughout the piece in the attempt to check my own privilege. Again, Thanks for watching and engaging.

How precisely does our patriarchal society reserve positions of authority for men? There must exist a legal mechanism, body of law, or government organization that prevents women from assuming certain positions of authority and reserves them for exclusively for men. Otherwise women could not attain those positions of power. Please provide examples of positions of power unattainable by women and show us some legal document or written set of rules that says this job is reserved exclusively for men. The only thing that even remotely comes to mind is selective service in the U.S., but to say women feel excluded from positions of power they desire to attain by selective service is laughable. It is instead an obligation for service to society imposed exclusively on men under the threat they lose the right to vote, find employment in the civil service, risk fines or even jail time. Then there's the draft during times of war, drafted men who refused to fight could do time in Leavenworth penitentiary.
The sole determining factor of masculinity is male genitalia. If you have it, your a man. If you don't, either you had an accident of some sort, or you have female genitalia, in which case you are a women.
Women do not like men who do housework or even attempt to do housework, evidence shows that the happiest longest lasting marriages are the ones where the man doesn't, because women interpret any attempt to do so as a hostile incursion into their exclusive domain.
Regarding emotional range, the only emotional range women permit for men in a relationship is stoicism. If men open up and express any insecurities, weaknesses or vulnerability, their female partners will feel anxiety and insecurity, they will become angry and demand they 'man up' or they will walk out on them and find a 'real man' to replace them. Women rely on men for their own emotional security, what you are suggesting men should do would undermine that.
Regarding accountability in a relationship, flip the gender roles for once. What accountability and responsibility should women take in the relationship to their man and His emotional life? Perhaps women should be the ones to listen intently without defending or denying?
If men have invisible privileges, isn't that sort of like the emperors new clothes, we are told to believe they are there even though we can't see them. Has it ever occurred to you they might not exist. Feminism has defined rape as a crime that can only be committed against a women by a man. When you include the category of all sexual assaults, the numbers for males being sexually attacked by females is equal with sexual assaults committed by males against females. As for violence, men get murdered far more often than women do.
Nobody listens to a single word men say, and if you think men assume they will be given positions of leadership, you haven't heard of DEI quotas in the workplace. It's becoming increasingly difficult for white heterosexual males to get decent jobs, they need to prove at the very minimum they are Gay but preference is now given to Trans women. It's no longer a choice, it's coercive, they will be discriminated against in the workplace, they are literally forced against their will to engage in a gender lifestyle they consider truly disgusting at a deep emotional level, or they don't get a paycheck. That's what the story of Sodom and Gomorrah was really about, forcing people against their will to engage in sexual activity they considered abominable.
Men are walking away from relationships, they are looking at the last two generations of how feminism and no fault divorce has utterly destroyed the lives of their grandfathers, their fathers, uncles, brothers, best male friends, male coworkers, and they are saying to themselves, not for me. They don't want to lose their house even if they still have to pay the mortgage, access to their children, they don't want half their salary taken away from them. They don't want to be thrown in prison for non support because an economic downturn has taken their job. They don't want to fall victim to the 'silver bullet, a weaponized false accusation by an ex partner of rape or domestic violence. They don't want the gaslighting by society and feminist therapists who employ the patriarchy conjecture, because it's not a theory, and it's been debunked over and over again. Two generations of feminism has rendered the average women's personality almost indistinguishable from a narcissist or borderline personality disorder. A growing percentage of young men who do seek marriage are traveling to other countries where feminism has been rejected not only by the government but the female population.
I would strongly recommend taking the definition of patriarchy theory, removing the words man, male, masculinity, and replacing them with the words Jew, Jewry, Judaism. Likewise female, and feminist with German or Aryan. Reread the definition of patriarchy, and what you will discover is that Patriarchy Theory is indistinguishable from The World Wide Jewish Conspiracy. As a follower of the Men's Rights Movement I will subscribe to your channel. I'll encourage other MRAs and MGTOWs as well. You might even discover what it means to RED PILL, because The Matrix doesn't do the experience half the justice. Especially for a male feminist like yourself, discovering that everything you have been taught to believe to be true is false, especially in your case, about your profession.

If someone unironically talks about race theory we correctly dub them a nazi and toss their ass in prison for the harm that lie causes. Why? Because harmful lies need to have consequences.

Spiritually speaking (gender, race and simping aside), matriarchy and patriarchy can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God).
Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth). The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle.
As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8).
Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experiences associated with the transpersonal awakening process.
In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary ego death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high cyclical awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld; her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle.
Mary's anointing and wiping of Jesus's feet with her hair can then be seen as "Head to tail" (toe) imagery as she descends her matriarchal head to his patriarchal feet, thus reenacting the high understanding of the divine cyclical process. (John 12, verse 3)
To carry the Ankh (now the female symbol ♀️) was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle.
Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. Ganesha (like the elephant) wears God's cyclical nature on his face.
A whole temple was dedicated to Hathor (ancient Egyptian diety) who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. th-cam.com/video/J0m0zJSEFK0/w-d-xo.html

Read Steven Pinkers the better angels of our nature and compare what happens now to the bloodbath that most of human history has been. Men today are lost because we’re bombarded with contradictions of what women say vs what women respond to. Women punish weak men and have simultaneously stripped them of what has historically been there roles in society as creators, producers, providers, and protectors. Modern feminism constantly demonizes those things in men and just men in general. That’s why men are so lost. Maybe do some research, apply some critical thinking skills and look at what men and boys think their issues are instead of listening to testosterone deficient bald headed fuckwit and your feminist sisters before you starting stating falsehoods.

Targeting masculinity is offensive. I wouldn't name toxic femininity or toxic humanity - there are misconceptions/roles of being a man, a woman, and a human, but these should be named differently. It is harmful to target men's identity - it is harmful to feminists, to men, to women and to the society. Targeting one's identity literary harms them, if it is not obvious look at the social identity theory. And that is what society does to women. When you attack men's identity, they are not going to listen to you because protecting their identity comes first. It just harms both sides and creates conflict, it is the reason why people think feminism is a men hatting movement. For any peaceful debate to be possible, all parties must be respected.
With all respect, look in your comments and think about why these people are so offensive and seemingly misogynistic?

There are also harmful traits that are typical for people in general, or for people in certain cultures, but it seems very innapropriate to say "toxic humainity" or name types of humanity that are toxic, as it seems to suggest that there might be something wrong with humanity as such.
My intuition could be completely off, but I have seen some research papers and the idea that feminism is an attack on masculinity is behind the backslashes against feminism, and I believe that a large portion of these people genuinly believe that that's what feminism is about. I have also seen a feminist paper, according to which some feminists based on the theory of masculinities act wrongly towards men who don't display these traits. So that's why I believe that the focus on these terms gets overgeneralised and only provokes conflict and I don't see it as justifiable.

Patriarchy is man made n actually created by men. It's nothing but just a belief system or way of life for privileged men living in patriarchal countries so they don't even knw wt a life w/o patriarchy is n so they will never accept the fact patriarchy exists. Customs like women staying in her husband's home, dowry, decisions being made by mostly the men in the house, women doing most of the chores, women not talking back or being loud or bold, dress code for women after marriage, women asking permission for going out anywhere even unlike men even tho she's an adult.. an adult I repeat, women in patriarchal countries r expectd to b intimate wid spouse even if she's uncomfortable or forcing her to have children, this is most odd of all🧐 like in which century these ppl r living 🧐
