She looks “done”. Not natural. She’s lovely don’t get me wrong. But the cheek implants and obvious fillers, to me, do not look good. I look at aging women who have had a face lift, maybe lower and/or upper Bleph, and stop there as the models for grateful and positive aging. My goal for the 60’s will be to look good for my age. NOT, everyone knows I’ve done something and wonders what it is. That distracts. The women I am amazed by are those who done very subtle things. The reasons fillers came into being is that a facelift and blepharoplasty can only do so much. Yet women - like this woman who is back in because she is seeing aging (oh my gosh) and she wants it gone. Have you seen Meg Ryan? Marlo Thomas? Melanie Griffith? Look them up!! They look frightening but by golly they have no lines just lumps all over their faces. A face lift, bleph as needed, light Botox and be grateful. I don’t look at people like this woman and think Wow she looks great for her age! I am distracted by what has been done to her face. Because famous women are the ones we all know it’s all I can reference here: look at the women like Blythe Danner, Sally Field, Annette Bening…they’ve done stuff but they don’t do the cheek implants and fillers that distract. Just my opinion and I’m entitled to it. :)
I agree that less is more. i would never do implants or injectables. But she looks fantastic. She's 68, for crying out loud. Maybe if she hadn't done anything, she would have heavy, hanging jowls. However, I replayed the video, and I see what you mean. The implants changed the shape of her face. I'm wondering why the facelift wasn't enough. Maybe Dr Joe can answer that. Some women want more than rejuvenation, they want a different look, too. Still think she looks great at 68.
That’s why I said I am totally cool with a facelift. The reason she looks weird, in my opinion, is the cheek implants, and the fillers she’s clearly doing. Totally distracting. So you’re rejecting aging gracefully for looking odd, but clearly having had a lot of work done to look like this at 68. Where is the grace in that? A face lift will take care of sags and bags, not lines and wrinkles. That’s why they had to come up with fillers so women could never have lines on their face. Ever. So you’ve got a woman 70 years old with no lines on her face. You’re supposed to have lines on your face. So if you don’t have lines on your face, it’s because you’re injecting crap into your face. And to me that’s just distracting. To each her own. But I don’t look at her and think that’s what I want to look like at 68. I think it looks insecure and ungrateful. That’s just my opinion. :-)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! She is happy and she is pushing 70 years old. Look at the average 70 year old female you know. She looks pretty darn good. Not sure if she had fillers somewhere else or not. I had not seen her for a decade, so it was a great reunion. All of you have a great new year, even if you disagree.
Being a grandma is a wonderful thing. At 68, she's old enough to be a great-grandma, yet she looks like a young 45-yera-old grandma. I became a grandma at 42, I didn't even look 42, but i was thrilled to be a grandma. So, whatever your view of a grandma is, you're clearly not with the times.

I’m 3 years in and I already have jowls setting in and neck skin under my chin. I’m just sick!
You should discuss with your surgeon, to see options.
68??? She looks 45!! No, she doesn't need anything.
:)
