This is how it is suppose to be. You covered all the aspects of a recipe that too in a very orderly manner. Ingredients, Recipe, Benefits, Things that it can go with, history etc etc. This has been one of the best presentation of any recipe on YT. And most importantly 11/10 marks for your communication brother. Perfect accent, pitch, right choice of words, no drama. It doesn't feel bored a single time. Keep up the good work Sir and best of luck for the good future 👍👍
Hi Srikant Singh! Right now, Chennai is getting roasted in the summer heat! Your recipe for 'Thandai Mix' is a godsend for me! Let me rush to buy some nuts and some roses too! Laakh laakh shukriya ji!
Thanks for the basic idea of a nut-based powered to flavor beverages. I'll now try some variations to see if I can finally stop buying liquids labeled as coffee creamers that have no nutrient value and are loaded with ingredients that really don't belong in 'food' category!
It was all very interesting. Thank you. I'm wondering about the melon seeds. I have never seen them sold anywhere before. Could I use sunflower or pumpkin seeds instead (raw and unsalted)?
Hello! I am so excited to have found your channel. And I Subscribed immediately 😊 I have a query about “Thandai” powder. Can I purchase the powder online? As good as it is for one’s health, it is sadly not an easy powder to make. I want an easy way out I guess 😉 without the fuss of finding the ingredients and grinding them etc etc. You are doing a great job, keep it up
Thank you.🙂This is available in India atleast online . The store-bought ones always have excess amount of sugar in them. Also check for ingredients that there are preservative , taste enhancers and color free. As an alternative, If the number of ingredients is daunting then you can make another nut based powder with nuts either one or two types , grind them and store them in the jar. Add a tablespoon to a glass of milk.Add a little sweetener , A strand or two of saffron and it will taste nicer. It will not be Thandai but atleast a step towards it 🙃. I hope this helps
I found the poppy seeds surprising. I have never seen white ones. Poppy seeds are dark blue-black in the US, as far as I know. So I looked them up, and apparently white poppy seeds are common in India. Both colors come from the Papaver somniferum (opium poppy plant). 🤷🏻♀️
And I was able to find some Indian poppy seeds on Amazon. I'm looking forward to trying them. Also available are some of the other Indian ingredients you mentioned. This will be a fun exploration!
Thank you for this nutritious beverage recipe! You and Anastasia explain clearly, at right pace. You both look healthy. Recipes of happybellyfish are unavailable this morning April 10, 2023!
As long as you keep it away from Moisture building up inside the bottle it should be fine. If you are in a very humid place then roast the nuts for a little longer before grinding.
Thank you that was new and interesting, I'm not sure if we can obtain melon seeds here in Australia but I'm definitely looking forward to trying this healthy protein drink to maintain muscle retention at a late age🥰😋🖕🏻🖕🏻

You can also increase the amount of almonds , or replace with your other favorite nuts 🙂. Sunflower and pumpking seeds would work too.
I am surprised by the rose petals and melon seeds. The beverage sounds lovely. I will try it!

Can we add seseme seeds
Yes absolutely but just enough not to overpower the taste🙂
Can you use jeggrie goor as a sweetener?
Yes ofcourse.
Can we refrigerate this powder to increase the shelf life ?

Any substitute for poppy seeds?
Muslims consider poppy seeds haram to consume
There's no substitute but it is an optional ingredient. You can use melon seeds or any other nuts in more quantity if you like.
I heard that milk and curd should not mix
