I don't know if it's delirium from staying up to this demonic hour of the night or genuine emotions, but seeing this animation that played a huge part in my introduction to the Bendy franchise brought a tear to my eye. I listened to the two back to back, the older version had more energy and emotion to it. The newer versions instrumentals sounded cleaner and the vocals sounded more experienced. Both are a joy and I don’t believe one is better than the other, just a preference toward the experience your looking for
initially i was liking the old version better, but I like in this one it becomes more raspy/angry towards the end as he gets more and more angry/insane.

I ended up watching the original and this one to compare. I’m surprised no one mentioned this, but I love how much more the singing voice matches bendy’s speaking voice this time around (especially with pronunciation of certain words and whatnot). Those vocal skills have definitely grown since then, Hailey! Bravo!

Been away for far too long indeed. This reminds me so well of why I fell in love with Bendy and the Ink Machine. The spirit of the characters, the love poured into the creations by the fans like true artists. I cannot thank you enough for this, it feels like...A Revival.

Oh my god, this remaster was phenomenal. The blast of trumpets every now and again, the violin with the tap dancing, everything was TOP NOTCH!! This has raised my spirits to an all new high today. Thank you Squiggly!

The original Welcome Home was my gateway into the Bendy franchise 4 whole years ago now. I would listen to it on repeat and sing it in school. The Bendy community welcomed me to a lot of my best friends that I still hold near to me to this day. This song means a lot to me and to see it remastered was a treat. Thank you and well done, cannot wait for Part 2.

After watching Behind the Curtain and the behind the scenes videos, I feel that Bendy’s tone of voice in this version and the visuals makes more sense now in describing the type of character he’s written to have here. I also recall being somewhat confused with what exactly Bendy was feeling when he repeated “Welcome home, you’ve been away for far too long” three times at the end. Now, I think it can be interpreted as him having mixed feelings of Henry’s return, which gets followed up on with his actions in Behind the Curtain. Also my favorite part of this version were the use of string instruments when Bendy tap danced 😆 (2:00)
Can Anyone else agree that 2:22 - 3:31 is at least one of the best parts if not THE best? The whole song and the Original are Amazing and that ending Parts had always been my favorite, amazing work.
Well, to be honest.........I competely agree. My favourite part is 1:43 - 1:53 edit: especialy 1:47 (that "voice crack"), part chosen by you is definitely coolest mine is best by the sound (my opinion) :)

Dark Revival came out. (Spoilers.) The Henry we played as in Ink Machine was actually a fake Henry created by Joey to torture, out of sheer anger that Henry left, Henry really never came back to the Studio. So this amazing song's lyrics is Outdated now, well, not entirely, because it could apply to US, the Fans, almost forgetting about Bendy from how Dark Revival took so long, until we could've left the Fandom, and after all these years of forgetting about Bendy, he's finally returned through Dark Revival, and he's not happy with a single one of us for almost forgetting about his Legacy.

What a melancholic blast from the past! This game is partially responsible for unlocking my artistic spirit and the original version of this song is forever linked with the height of it's popularity in my head. I just had such a beautiful emotional response to this, it's amazing. It's a wonderful remaster but throughout the whole 5 minutes, I just caught myself reminiscing again and again... seeing something so familiar made me happy of course, but the whole black and white style and the mostly empty hallways just put the whole abandoned mood of chapter 1 back in my head and i dont know... just feels like the franchise has always been a prophecy of itself... Something that used to beautiful and full of ambitious creativity now lays desolate, with only the fond memories remaining. Just got me right in the feels. The power of nostalgia i guess. I dont even know how long it's been since I heard something new out of BATIM. Truely, it's been away for far too long... Which is why your closing announcement filled me with such ecstasy! It's just so nice to see that even though there has been nothing official out of this franchise for a while, it's spirit still lives on. It hasn't been forgotten completely yet. There are still people who adore this game as much as I do (or probably even more, judging by this love letter of a video). I'm so filled with joy that you're doing this new part of WELCOME HOME. I first watched the original back in 2021, mid June or July. I was going through a Bendy phase once again and coming across if was an absolute treat. It was booming with a gorgeous orchestra, wonderful acting and performance and aesthetically pleasing animation. This only amplifies all of that more, while pretty much staying the same (animation wise that is). I really like the added symphony added in the background for some parts. Like here. 3:12 The escalation is... chef's kiss!👌 And YES, Part 2! Here comes Alice! I hear She's quite a gal. Oh, hi Sammy! "Sheep, sheep, sheep, it's time for sleep..." Yeah, it is 3 minutes to 00:00am. Oh well, goodnight everybody!

After watching Behind the Curtain and the behind the scenes videos, I feel that Bendy’s tone of voice in this version and the visuals makes more sense now in describing the type of character he’s written to have here.
I also recall being somewhat confused with what exactly Bendy was feeling when he repeated “Welcome home, you’ve been away for far too long” three times at the end. Now, I think it can be interpreted as him having mixed feelings of Henry’s return, which gets followed up on with his actions in Behind the Curtain.
Also my favorite part of this version were the use of string instruments when Bendy tap danced 😆 (2:00)
Can Anyone else agree that 2:22 - 3:31 is at least one of the best parts if not THE best? The whole song and the Original are Amazing and that ending Parts had always been my favorite, amazing work.

The Henry we played as in Ink Machine was actually a fake Henry created by Joey to torture, out of sheer anger that Henry left, Henry really never came back to the Studio.
So this amazing song's lyrics is Outdated now, well, not entirely, because it could apply to US, the Fans, almost forgetting about Bendy from how Dark Revival took so long, until we could've left the Fandom, and after all these years of forgetting about Bendy, he's finally returned through Dark Revival, and he's not happy with a single one of us for almost forgetting about his Legacy.

dude, I LOVE how smooth this is! The old one was too, both have a charm that really makes them different.
What a melancholic blast from the past!
This game is partially responsible for unlocking my artistic spirit and the original version of this song is forever linked with the height of it's popularity in my head. I just had such a beautiful emotional response to this, it's amazing. It's a wonderful remaster but throughout the whole 5 minutes, I just caught myself reminiscing again and again... seeing something so familiar made me happy of course, but the whole black and white style and the mostly empty hallways just put the whole abandoned mood of chapter 1 back in my head and i dont know... just feels like the franchise has always been a prophecy of itself...
Something that used to beautiful and full of ambitious creativity now lays desolate, with only the fond memories remaining. Just got me right in the feels. The power of nostalgia i guess. I dont even know how long it's been since I heard something new out of BATIM. Truely, it's been away for far too long...
Which is why your closing announcement filled me with such ecstasy! It's just so nice to see that even though there has been nothing official out of this franchise for a while, it's spirit still lives on. It hasn't been forgotten completely yet. There are still people who adore this game as much as I do (or probably even more, judging by this love letter of a video). I'm so filled with joy that you're doing this new part of WELCOME HOME.

I first watched the original back in 2021, mid June or July. I was going through a Bendy phase once again and coming across if was an absolute treat. It was booming with a gorgeous orchestra, wonderful acting and performance and aesthetically pleasing animation. This only amplifies all of that more, while pretty much staying the same (animation wise that is). I really like the added symphony added in the background for some parts. Like here. 3:12 The escalation is... chef's kiss!👌
