Good machine the Apex, the viper coil is perfect for stubble, pre decimal coppers usually come in about 65-75 but lead can catch you out cos it usually comes in about the same. Silver is usually between 50-55 including hammered silver but a lot can depend on ground etc. A lot of it is trial and error with settings and everyone has their own choices but I run mine in relic mode with a few notches discriminated, channels and frequencies you have to muck around with if you are getting chatter but it is a cracking machine and can compete with machines that are much more expensive. Good luck to you.....subscribed.
@@Muirton66 really appreciate that mate and some excellent feedback , it certainly seems a capable machine and I'm looking forward to learning it further and trying new settings , great info on the numbers mate , thanks again 😁👌
@@ScottishTreasureHunter Just one other thing if you are changing channels or frequencies always do it with the coil off the ground, and it's also good to ground balance every hour or so.....cheers and good luck.
before yae go oot next time, get yersel a bamboo toothbrush an sharpen the end to a point , now you can pick the muck oot an brush the item, easier than rubbin the dirt about on it. havin said that. yer daein well so keep up the finds. aw the Best. OH,, its a Boys Brigade badge.
