It depends you can get carbon bikes to make them light. But most of them are heavy.

Are you telling me these jumps are possible with carbon fiber (I'm assuming you don't mean steel)? Carbon fiber is brittle and extremely rigid and won't give at all on the landing and can develop stress cracks that are difficult to see.
I said carbon dude! Mate you clearly do not know what you are talking about just look up any of these professionals Downhill bikes. Like Trek or Santa cruz these are just examples. I quote 'The toughest carbon

ThatAnnoyingGuy Steel (as opposed to aluminum) has a lot of carbon in it, that's why I asked. What exactly is "mountain carbon"? Is "The Toughest Carbon" a name Trek uses? The terms "Carbon" and "The Toughest Carbon" are absolutely meaningless outside of a context. If you know, can you tell me what they are talking about? Is it a type of carbon fiber or a carbon impregnated metal like Chromolly or steel?

Andre carried a lot of speed throughout the whole course, but he really only did one backflip and a huge straight air gap. Brandon landed way more tricks.

Speed, my friends. If you didn't notice, he did crazy drops and finished it really fast. So it's not just "about tricks" lol. Have u ever sped up with MTB downhill? I have. I have and believe me, it looks not just crazy and scary when you look it as a side person, but IT IS REALLY crazy and scary. So speed is rly rly important. Cuz with high speed u can fck ur self rly bad. And the spanish guy was flawless.

Those expensive bmxs could, but the human body couldn't, like with a downhill it's different because of how big and suspended the downhills are. For a bmx you would land and all the pressure would go to your legs causing you to bounce.
