I got emotional at the end when the video panned to the green grass, mountainous and foggy sky, with countless rescued 11th hour dogs frolicking around in peace and tranquility. That is my literal vision of heaven. It's amazing what you've made come true for these earth angels.
This is what true devotion and love looks like. Lee explaining to his crew what to do in a calm voice, and never yelling at the dogs. His calmness reflects on how everything in the meeting is going. This is amazing, just as Lee is amazing.

The black Great Dane is beautiful but you can see it is still nervous. It should get better soon. You have such calm energy.
Aww the Great Dane really touched my heart he reminded me of my days of starting a new school and all the kids trying to figure out who I was. I was always nervous like this sweet big boy ❤
He is sidling up to Lee to protect him... He seems like he needs a very caring human to bond with, and care for him.
@KK-111 I think you are right. With a big couch for him to lay on, not too much noise and not too many people. I'm sure with TLC and maybe some CBD, he will flourish.
@@anndownsouth5070 Yes, and I'm guessing...even CBD is not required.. :) Just a plain ol' safe, loving, calm, caring, patient, and consistent home- where he can relax and be himself. Where he knows that he is safe, loved, protected, and there are no 'surprises' to threaten him.
Lee, never apologise for anything during filming. You have to focus on the puppers, we know that. We are just in awe regarding how you do what you do! This could have been chaotic, but it was remarkably calm. They are so happy with you, absorbing the love from the humans around them and giving it back when greeting each other. ❤❤❤❤

I think this is so beautiful! I love how the unsure new Great Dane keeps coming back to Lee for that reassurance, and it shows that amazing trust and love they have for him. Obviously this isn’t something anyone should do without experience, but I know Lee wouldn’t risk the safety of his dogs or his staff. He is calmly telling his staff how to react, reminding them to just stay calm. The dogs are looking to the humans for guidance. I pray that more sanctuaries like Asher House can be developed, save more animals from being killed simply because they don’t have space. The way Lee is so calm and attentive to the dogs that need him most is amazing!

Watching these beautiful animals run, play and LOVE Lee and each other is so therapeutic….I WOULD LOVE a 24 hour channel of nothing but THESE dogs running and playing , so enjoying being free in this beautiful environment… the best part is watching them snuggling into their beds after a hard days PLAY! Cherry Eye can be easily corrected with a warm wet cloth and small circular motions. That pops it back into place. It may need to be repeated a few times but the eye will strengthen and this really works. No surgery required. I have done this for one of my French Bulldogs who had this happen at a very young age. I repeated this procedure 3 times and it hasn't returned in years.
Oh my. That's the first I've heard that. I hope Lee or his people see what you've written.
@@user-uk8qm6jd4o Google it there is a full article in it and for my French Bulldog she had this happen when she was like 10weeks and I found that article, did the wet cloth and it was back in place. It happened again a few months later so I repeated this wet cloth and it worked. It spaced out and happened about 6 months after and I repeated this wet cloth and never has it returned. She is 3 now and it hasn't happened in a long time

This is exciting. Beautiful dogs everywhere. Gone, for now, are the days of getting a dog and they spend the night sleeping with you. It's just sad now there are so many dogs in need of a home. The border is full of dogs that are being abandoned. Heartbreaking. We know how intelligent they are and they feel pain and confusion not knowing why they're left behind. Miss the following one dog's journey videos, we now see them being adopted and maybe here and there something again BUT what you are doing, and the dogs you're saving is so, so much more important. Keep doing what you're doing, you and the staff at the sanctuary is angel doing God's work!!

I m taking my 7 months old for a collective walks this sunday. Beside his educator and her two Tervuren, my baby won t know the others (people/dogs). We might be a dozen. Seeing you with so many around and things being all good even with sensitive dogs reassures me for this first outing with so many people and dogs at once :).

It was a great idea to introduce the new dogs into the pack for exactly the reasons you stated ... and, you did it in a very spacious area which gave them lots of room to run around in, rather than be on top of each other cramped into a smaller space. Plus, when you take them out on one of the more expansive walks, they'll be excited but in a good way -- they'll be a bit more used to each other, less nervous, and can be more comfortable with playing. The Asher House is the perfect place for these precious babies ... thank you SOOOOO much, Lee and team, for your WONDERFUL care of ALL of them. 💜

I know you compliment the employees/volunteers but they seem to be the type that don't need the praise to keep going. Awesome of you to do it and of course it feels good, but I wanted them to notice I see they're doing this job because THEY love the results, not to be seen by any of us. That's so awesome. We have some bad city shelters in town. I once volunteered. It wasn't a good situation for me, and the shelter is in big trouble now. I feel SO badly about it.

Cien perros!!, es asombroso que en tan pocos años hayas reunido una familia tan grande. En Grecia hay una gran persona que se llama Takis, y construyó en las afueras de la ciudad de Ierapetra un santuario y ya tiene más de 500 perros, un rebano de cabras , un montón de gatos y ayuda también a la fauna salvaje del lugar. Creo que los dos sois unos cracks!!😊😊
