- Give it up for the Best Of Daigo The Beast Umehara SFV Highlights following his road to EVO 2019! The wait is over, everybody setting up, everybody is preparing, as well as our Lord Daigo Umehara. He's streaming almost everyday, discovering new tech while mastering every option on the hitbox. He has to good at the upcoming EVO In order for him to win Capcom Cup. He had a tough year tho, not only because of his switch to hitbox but also for his main character switches since the beginning of SFV. He is known for being a remarkable player and has proven it through decades. He is a Multi Game Champion, a legend among warriors within the FGC.

As much of a fanboy I am of Daigo, with respect to his legacy, I don't think he'll win EVO. I'll still watch his matches and thankful he's ambassador to the FGC. Wish him the best of luck.

I love Daigo, but I wouldn't favor him to win. He'll make top 8 most likely but my money is on Bonchan or Tokido. Stats alone, they both have shown more consistent success as of lately.

Guile is FAR from weak. Guile is AT WORST the top of A tier and arguably an S-tier character. He's top 7 at least.

There is no Daigo anymore.
Evo favorites are obviously punk, tokido, bonchan and problemx but its still pretty wide open. Tons of great players to even count but this new hitbox version of daigo might be enough to give him an edge make a run to top 8
I still dont think hes totally comfortable with it but.... respect to him for stepping outside his comfort zone and sticking with it. True discipline.
@@Chris-xl6pd yeah ive heard him talking about using it cause he simply wsnts to get better at fighting games but i think hes fully committed to it. In fact i think hes playing better too.

He plays with the character he considers the best in the game. Guile is as strong as Akuma, Karin, Cammy and Ibuki.
Daigo would still lose if he chose any other character because he is not among the best players, has an anonymous player level.
