I do appreciate you being willing to upload losses. So many youtubers in all kinds of games only upload wins and its unrealistic. Im trying to learn the game and seeing losses is even more helpful than wins at times
Yu Song, it was the right decision not to try for the 13 Orphans on that South 1 hand. It was not your final chance, and throwing a hand full of red fives and dora would make it all too obvious to the other players what you were chasing.
started playing Majhong less than five days ago and been watching at least one of your video daily since! Very entertaining though i can feel the sanity point decreasing and the Joker arc coming up soon!
i decided to give mahjong another try with the steam release, and funny enough your channel came up on my fyp feed yesterday. dude, you're hilarious and knowledgeable! i'm really enjoying your vids. there's still a lot i'm not understanding but your explanations are helping me make sense of certain decision making that goes on. i doubt i'll be playing any better, but i'll be sticking around. hopefully i can catch a stream!

Rough game. Kokushi musou is unlikely, but maybe you could try it. Normal hand gives 20-25% chance of winning, and even less for a good mangan+ value. It's not a huge waste to skip one for possible kokushi (unless you need mangan right now, but South 1 is far from all last). At the very least those tiles are good for defense, if needed.
25:21 HOW ARE YOU REFUSING THE GODS GIFT OF TRYING TO GO FOR ORPHANS ON 4TH PLACE??? THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE BAD LUCK Srsly tho, if there is a moment to go for a yakuman is when you are already screwed, plus you can always just fold your way into tanyao since you have only terminals
Ngl if the Elo system in this game was more points dependent and less placing dependent, I would not have been so tilted at this game so often. I got 21k points 4th place today and u can imagine my rage.
