Knew it was a lie because if you're a fan of henry blofeld, you're going to recognise him even if he puts on an accent, particularly seeing as you can still hear his normal voice in the common accent.

Aw, that's a shame, I hoped it'd be true cos when I give money to a homeless person in London, particularly when it's an older gentleman, I tend to put on a cockney accent...if I used my real, Scottish, accent you could bet your arse that said gentleman would be Scottish too 🙄 and want to give me a hug...happened sooo many times before I worked that out...I wish I was lying😁
