As someone who has programmed a friend with programming a firesheild, I know this first hand that it’s kinda hard, although his firesheild does have an LCD, but you have to like go through the reset and slince buttons if I remember correctly and the manual does help you, but I think if they had nav and enter and number buttons like almost every other panel, it would make it a lot faster. And yes the genesis sync thing is just called “Genesis”.

I personally think that selective silence isn't an issue at all. Since when would a deaf person who is outside of a building after evacuating with many other people who aren't deaf not just go inside when everyone else goes inside?
@@slendertech it's not all about blind people. It's also about those who can see that the strobes are still flashing and could be confused. Especially in areas of buildings that may only have strobes as the primary notification device. And a blind person would not be able to see others entering a building, as they have a lack of vision

Here where I am the requirement is 24 hours standby +30 minutes in alarm which was increased from the previous requirement of 5 minutes in alarm. But if the system is powered off of a listed alternate source such as generator it is four hours standby I believe

The problem is sometimes it's safe to re-enter the building once the system is silenced but not necessarily reset
Yes, so even if the system was silenced but not reset the blind person would see everybody else re-entering the building and proceed to do so as well.

By law it needs to last 24h

That's true other than there isn't a NFS 2-320 but there is a 640
