Love your gear reviews man.
Ola really knows metal tone.
would you rather have a used jcm 800 full stack or 1 used axe fx 3?
I'll take the Marshall stack.
I never thought to use 2 microphones 😮 iv always used 1 slightly off center from a different video I watched for miking amps
That Lead Tone at 9.39 is fckng AWESOME!!!!!
This is going to be my new rig. I'll at least be able to try out all sorts of heads/ cabs. I'm stoked.
I really enjoy the vids. your metal but your so happy and enthusiastic about it! dig it!!!
I love the Axe-FX III. Perfect unit.
This thing sounds pretty good for a VCR.
That Riff at 04:25 !!! Reminds me a lot of the Old Days! So sick Ola!
The tones on Carbomb’s new record use that, and it sounds AMAZING.
You mean lazer beam tone.
Oh yeah? Didn't know they used it. It does sound really good there. Although I'm too focused on trying to figure out what the rhythm on their songs are... :p
Bwahahaha! The Devin Townsend bit was very much in the style of Dev! Nice job! Haha! The singing wasn't even that bad either
“Enumerating Ravens” is that kind of like counting crows? I am so confused.
Definitely sounds better than my zoom 808 and my digitech rp 90, slightly more options in my vast knowledge opinión
Yeah, it's cool! I am saving up for Synergy system! I want to revive my rack fx setup. Just, need modern preamps!
That guitar looks epic, natural.
Thank you brother! keep on CHUGGIN !!!
can u install some bass traps the sound is not as warm as it used to be at home
Yes, it does indeed chug
Got to have the sustainiac switch, to make it sound completely accurate synyster isn't just a player he's also a technical genius. I think it sounds good on your guitar but it's better with the sustainiac switch just being honest.
comparing to other amps you checked like REVV , I'm not satisfied with the sound of this, a handy tool for live.
AngbandMetal even neural DSP plugins sounds better...
@@NO-TALK-GuitarPlugin I agree
Lol no they don't bud
I’d like to see fractal make an Actal amp to combat something like the boss katana 🤔🤔🤔
Thank you so much for the honest review. I was about to purchase the Helix HX yesterday, but this video changed my mind. I think I will wait for the FM3. The AXE3 is too big and expensive.
Awesome to see a video of you playing this! What is that string dampener you have at the nut? It’s not a Jimmy Clip. I don’t recognize it
Same question!
Can you send different IR's to different outs of the unit so you can mix those in the DAW afterwards?
Best guitar rig in the world \m/
...Loved the Devin Townsend patch! 😄👌
Thanks for the presets Ola!
I bought one. Im using a line 6 spider patch boosted with a metal zone. Sounds killer.
Nah... nothing beats the guitar modeling processing power of my Digitech RP-100...
Rp1000 👍👍👍👍
I raise you with my Yamaha GW50 😏
Line 6 POD red bean of death \m/ (-_-) \m/
I loved my RP200 was great before it died.
my Zoom G2 isn't bad either
Could be a nice reverb to my rack
That natural color Solar looks fucking amazing. Is it swamp ash?
Sick and tired of chasing down good tubes for my Mesa boogie dual rectifier roadster might have to switch to this.
Would definitely use it as a booster in front of a Line6 spider
what is that riff at 4:24 someone help me out, my brain can't place it
Darude sandstorm
I liked it before listening just because you're using that beautiful guitar
You make wonders, Ola.
I sold the farm to buy this one....love it so far...can't really operate it properly yet, but I'll figure it out...so powerful
Thanks Ola for another great video!
Hey Ola Greeting from Staten Island NYC, can do demo the 4 cable method with the Axe Fx 3 paired with any of your tube amplifiers? Also can you compare your Axe 8 to the Axe Fx 3 and compare the amp tones on the Axe Fx 3 to the tone of one of your tube amps.( For example compare one of your Mesa's to the Mesa tones they have on the Axe Fx 3 or any other tube amps you have around.) Thanks. Love your videos.
Glorified Ipad! 😎
What's your favorite cab to use . Do you have a favorite???? Love what you do!
Nice shirt Ola, but, does it chug? lol
The axe fx III sounds great.
Keep up the awesome work man! You're a great inspiration as a musician, gear geek, gamer and family man!
Cheers!
I agree with it sounding better faster. I have had mine for a few months now, and I spend more time playing and less time tweaking because it just sounds so great. It has far more options than what a Helix does, so far more to tweak, but I almost never need to as I get the tone in my head within minutes on the Axe Fx 3.
it's a mess, just play with a neural vst
@@vivarantx no, I'll use what suits me best 😊
