EBC organises author interaction with Jayanthi Sankar

Jayanthi Sankar has been in several international panels of literary festivals. Her recently published socio psychological novella When Will You Die? has been making a buzz among serious readers, since 2022 December. She loves reading fiction as much as experimenting with writing fiction. Her previous novel, Tabula Rasa was a 2022 NYC Big Book Award ‘Distinguished Favourite’ in the category of Historical Fiction and an ’honourable mention’ in San Francisco book fest award 2022. Her first novel Misplaced Heads, was on the Eyelands Book Awards 2020 final list of historical fiction, in Greece, making its mark as an outstanding postmodern historical fiction. The highly acclaimed, winner in fiction: short story in 2020 International Book Award -American book fest, Dangling Gandhi won also The Literary Titan international award. Born and brought up in India, she lives in Singapore since 1990. She works with the Ministry of Manpower as an onsite interpreter.
