Anne Marie Wells (she | they) is an award-winning Queer poet, playwright, memoirist, and storyteller navigating the world with a chronic illness. She earned the Peter K. Hixson Award in poetry through Writer's Relief and the Milestone Award through Wyoming Writers Inc. She was nominated for Wyoming Woman of Influence in the arts category for amplifying the voices of LGBTQ and disabled communities in Wyoming through her writing. She is the lead faculty member for the Community Literature Initiative DC Chapter and strategic partnership fellow for The Poetry Lab.
