I just started learning psychology when this mv was released and I used this mv in my presentation about persona and shadow. This is a masterpiece and I managed to learn and remember some psychological theories easily by watching this mv.
I ship this so fucking hard.
Also, I believe that Ravi represents Leo's shortcomings/demons which interfere with his relationship? That's how I'm seeing it, at least.

***** Nope. Ravi is portraying the agony that Leo is actually feeling. Leo lies to the girl, telling her that he wants to break up because he thinks that being away from him is what is best. But Ravi portrays Leo's real feelings which is he still loves her and doesn't want her to go.

***** I didn't see the lyrics as there wasn't a translation as well. I was just telling you what Ravi said. Well, all he said was "Its about the agony a man feels when his lover is leaving".
This is my interpretation of the story:Ravi did say its about a man's agony which he feels when his lover is leaving him. So then that invitation is for her wedding with this other dude. So then Leo tells her this beautiful lie, that he's cool with that because he thinks that being away from him is what's best. Ravi -Leo's conscience; portrays the truth which is he's seriously not okay with it and wants to stop her because he still loves her. So at that key bit, that represents the key to Leo's heart. You see, that was his very last chance to stop her because the whole time she was expecting to be stopped. Leo, still bullshitting himself, reaches for the key because you know, he believes she's better off with whoever it is she's being wedded to. But Ravi knocks the keys away and for that split second, she sees through Leo's lie. When she turns to leave, Leo fights with himself, trying to restrain himself from chasing after her. The part where Leo + Ravi embrace is Leo accepting the truth because they are one in the same. Somewhere near the end, Leo says "Its a beautiful pain, letting you go" meaning, even if he's in extreme agony, its worth it if she's going to be happier without him. It isn't until the end that he realises he's been bullshitting himself the whole time with the whole "I'm happy for you" thing as he says "I'm a beautiful, no, cowardly liar." But by then Ravi detaches from Leo since what's done is done .
I love the small details like that Ravi's eyes are lined with red which makes it look like he was crying and Leo's are lined with glitter which looks like he is holding back tears

im not exactly a kpop stan (just a person who loves to appreciate music with good meaning or music in general) but this song is amazing. I hate music without meaning and it just wastes the talent you were given, but this mv and song were so beautiful. The way they made one of the guys represent his inner emotions and the voice in his head while the other one showed what he was actually doing instead of what his feelings were doing. I seriously watch this religiously

+Scarlet Stone love this comment x) you should definitely check out some of Vixx's other songs/MVs! they're known as "concept-dols" for their versatility and dedication to each concept they come out with, on top of their great vocals/choreography. most MVs also have some sort of plotline or an underlying theme that ties everything together, which gives an added layer of depth to the whole production! I'm not a kpop stan either even though there are a number of talented groups out there, but Vixx really has something special about them. they're the only group I can 100% call myself a fan of, not just musically as artists, but as people, too!

I came here as an incle because of smtm4/smtm3 and the whole Bobby and Ravi diss thing. I thought Ravi was a good rapper who, like others, were embarrassed on the show and weren't able to show their full potential as a rapper. I found myself thinking about it last month and decided to check vixx out. I was expecting a group that was like others.. in a sense that the had visuals, good choreography, and amazing vocals, but didn't do much with the production of their music. I was wrong... These guys are something special. All of their concepts are so heart wrenching or mind blowing or cute. They cover a full range of music ... And ughhhhhhh ... I love this group so much. They're the second group where I can't choose a bias (my first is winner) I do hope these boys get more recognition and I hope there aren't such harsh feelings between Starlights and Ikonics. This seems like a mature fandom (like the shawols) and I don't see fan wars here, but I do see a lot of love and help. So thanks

I'm glad I'm giving this group a chance again. I tried listening to them about a year ago, and liked a few of their songs, then I stopped listening. But after hearing this, and many of their other songs, I just can't help but be a fan of them.

+CMLDanger i've watched VIXX Plan V a week ago (but i stopped for a while because finals is next week) because of N, and freaking can't get them out of my mind. And VIXX Plan V was my first video ever of VIXX.
You and me both, my friend. My first Vixx MV was Error, and it was... BEAUTIFUL. It's a beautiful song and it's just really polished and clean cut and gorgeous... but it I watched it only once. Because it was just. Too. SAD. It wasn't until I watched Voodoo Doll for the first time that I really started to warm to them musically. I found several of their songs that I liked, and this MV has really brought them up in my estimation. I Really enjoy their dark material. I still have major issues with the way they tend to make tonal shifts from comeback to comeback. Shifts so drastic that if you watch them all in chronological order (which i can only recommend that you do) they like, make your ears pop or give you a nosebleed.

To me, Ravi is closer to the true personality because he's the truth : the raw emotions, trying to get out by all means. Leo is the lie, he's a mask, never showing his true self, always holding back (shown when he's moving away from the girl at 2:14). So even if they are the same person, I think Ravi represents more who he REALLY is and Leo represent more who he THINKS he should be.

i don't know what to say. at the end i started crying because i can relate so much to this. the song and the music video hit me so hard i don't know why this doesn't have more views. the igot7, diamonds, twice fandom, army, exo-l, red velvet fandom are 100% behind vixx. they are such a beautiful group and this song was written and produced ever so beautifully. today, the first day of the year i become a starlight.

I click on this MV just by curiosity. I didn't know the band or the fact that it was a sub unit. No, just by curiosity. God... I never be so happy to be curious ! This is so damn good ! Even if I don't speak a word of korean, this song, this MV, catch me up, talked to me. This is just so beautiful. Now, I think I will really get interested in this sub unit, and in the band in general.

honestly, never been a huge fan of VIXX, but OH. MY. DAYS. First I want to congratulate both Leo and Ravi on doing an excellent job executing this piece of genius.
Second, I would like to commend them for their acting skills. This was some of the best MV acting I've seen since Himchan in 1004. Certainly it was one of the most intense things I have ever watched period. Leo and Ravi have some magnificent chemistry and I really look forward to seeing more from this sub-unit. I think this pair was an excellent choice.
Darkness, tragedy and intensity VIXX's bread and butter. This more than compensates for the disappointment (for me) that was Love Equation. (Aegyo wasn't exactly what I was looking forward to for my first VIXX comeback. I'd kind of been hoping for something tragic like Error, or, ideally, something tastefully gruesome like VOODOO DOLL) but this? Ravi and Leo have simply outdone themselves with this. Both of them look amazing. I always look kindly upon bleached/silver hair, and Leo grew his out a bit without looking like vampire extra from Underworld, like he did in Hyde.
Lastly, I would like to thank them for their generosity with those beautifully lit shirtless shoulder shots because... DEM CLAVICLES DOE. MY FEELS CANNOT HANDLE THAT BONE STRUCTURE.

This is still honestly MY MOST FAVOURITE SONG BY VIXX EVER..Tbh it's probably one of the greatest Kpop songs I've heard and I've been listening to kpop for like 5 years. I first listened to this about a year ago, but every time I comeback to view it I'm STILL stunned by how it's like the most perfect balance of intensity, sadness, beauty and vocals with rap. LR is an amazing subunit.
When I first learned the meaning for this song I was blown away. Everything just fits PERFECTLY- And the symbolism is so well executed. It's meaningful without being overly pretentious and over the top. I love that so much.

I seriously love everything about this. Leo is showing so much emotion in his voice. The eyeliner on both Ravi and Leo. The red eyeliner makes it look like Ravi has been crying and Leo's silver eyeliner makes it look like he's holding back tears. I loved their voices because it blends so well together. I loved the story. I loved everything. That being said, WHERE THE HELL IS THE MORE THAN ONE LIKE BUTTON!!!!!
