Hi Luke, it was great to catch up with you last week, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Diggle, including the ice creams along the canal! These videos are even more enjoyable after actually being there, thanks again for sharing this with us all.
It was great to meet you John, I’m really glad we managed to cross paths. It’s been raining non-stop since so you picked a good time! Definitely not ice cream weather at the mo.
Always a good day when a new Diggle video arrives - really well filmed again, I really like the location with the canal in the background, would love to do some still photography there! Like the T-shirt, are you a modeller too (I build aircraft and competition cars !)
Haha thanks Keef, I’am a modeller, everything from Tamiya and Airfix to Warhammer. Got that top from the Tamiya factory whilst I was in Japan. Got myself a lovely Porsche 934 on the table atm.
@@DiggleJunction Excellent! I've just started restoring a Tamiya BTCC Volvo 850 estate that I built when it came out about 1995 - hope to make a better job of it this time! 😄
@@andydavidson9440 either Tuesday this coming week or the one after. Just waiting on work to tell me which I can have off. I’ll make sure to put a post on here when I’m going 👍🏻
Cracking video excellent camera work as usual i love the sound of the diesels and steam engines my favourite steam engine is LMS black 5 45407 the Lancashire fusilier and 44871 and 45212 bye for now Philip
Another interesting vid. Luke, worth watching. Like the flat cap, must ask, are you a practitioner of Ecky Thump? Ask any of your older relly's who watched the Goodies if you are to young to get my drift. LOL cheers😁
great video! 40145, 20305 and 37059 were fantastic through here if you managed to get them
Thanks mate, yeah I made sure I was out on the bridge near the tunnel for that one. Great seeing em on our local line.

Great stuff. As much as I can't get excited about 66ers, seeing FIVE TOGETHER (quintuple header?) was something 😲
We have to look for anything we can to make them interesting haha. Thanks Kryss, appreciate the support 👍🏻
Stunning scenery even when wet, thanks again Luke 👍
Cheers mate, certainly very wet at the mo lol.
Great video Luke. Quite a lot of GB stuff on show. Despite the crappy weather its been a good month for yourself so far 👍🏻
Cheers mate, yeah had a nice mix this July. Pity the weathers been so crap but if I let it stop me I’d never be out haha.
Excellent as per usual loads crammed in there.I saw the rake of five 66’s in Mexborough, heading towards Doncaster.
Cheers John, yeah it was a bit of a highlight for me this vid. I know sheds are ten-a-penny but seeing a load together is cool.

@@keefr22 nice! The 850 was one of my faves from that golden era of BTCC.
Thanks
Mate thanks very much for this, always appreciate your support and it will go on a coffee to get me through the 24 hours at Tamworth!
Another nice one, Thanks Luke.
Cheers Bill, glad you enjoyed it mate.
Nice one Luke and really looking forward to the Tamworth 24.
Cheers Andy, really looking forward to it, hopefully the weather improves so I’m not flooded.
Let’s hope so! What day are you planning as I might pop by to say hi?

Thanks a lot Philip. Lancashire Fusilier will always have a special place to me, I think it was the first steamer I went on the footplate of as a kid.
Wow
good video as allways the rail train was nice to see the load moving be looking out for more
Thanks mate, had to get up pre-6am for that one so glad it was worth it! Cheers 👍🏻
Nice one Luke!
Thanks Alasdair, glad you enjoyed it mate 👍🏻
Really good...thank you
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Some horse power with them 5 locomotives
Think only the first one was under power but pushing 12,500 hp all together!

Cheers mate. I’ll confess I had to look that up, I only knew it as an exclamation. Haha think that’s an Olympic level sport here 😂
