I love this band. The breakup in 1991 is very sad, followed by the tragedy of 2013. But the music was exceptional. Unfortunately on you tube the band has few views compared to today's commercial garbage. Vixen represents another era of music and America, the pinnacle of Western civilization. The look, the music, the attitude, something you don't see in today's commercial garbage. No drugs, no sex, no political correctness. Only decency, talent, look, good taste, stage presence, love for work

I actually saw them play live where I live in enfield ct at Fourth of July celebration in the town park . So awesome and amazing seeing them live and they still definitely sound just as awesome as before.
Authentic, original, without being a copy of any male band while retaining their femininity, beautiful and extremely talented, Vixen is undoubtedly the best All Female Hard Rock band ever.
They excel but too mainstream/predictable/formulaic for weirdo me. I gotta go with the uniqueness of Bandmaid. But what man band is better in this genre? Eddy, that's all that comes to mind.

Loved the first album, full respect to all the band… but (and it’s only a personal opinion) this song doesn’t hit the spot for me. Sadly there came a moment when the rock/hair metal we all love faced its existential crisis: some managed to sound classic forever, some reinvented themselves and thrived, some simply didn’t evolve successfully. Best of times though 🤘
I don't remember this being #1 on MTV...maybe you mean MTV Europe? I guess it could have been #1 on DialMTV but seems unlikely in 1991. Most Hard Rock bands had become relegated to Headbanger's Ball by the end of that year.
