Man, after debating over getting my CDL for a couple years, I think this just sold me on it. My #1 issue with becoming a trucker would be the sheer amount of time I would lose toward my TH-cam channel, but after watching this I feel like I would not only be able to maintain it on the road, but also make some incredible content on the experience itself. I’m smiling just watching this
Get yourself a good hotspot maybe starlink. And u can have unlimited data. To stream and such. I’m going to get it for Xmas. And make an installment video. It’s worth the ride. But my setup is particular to my truck due to it being an ultraloft. Many trucks don’t have the space mine does. I’m lucky. But you can self mod anyway. Good luck on your tripping !!

@@bluecollaredbill get yourself a couch master cycon 2. its pretty pricy i got one in in the truck. helps alot with keyboard/mouse. not sure why there isnt anything else like it on the market its pretty basic and simple. was thinking of returning it but its too useful and no quality alternatives.

@@bluecollaredbill my hotspot was through my phone carrier, AT&T, and I game all the time in my sleeper. My tiktok video about it blew up. Streaming with a hotspot will probably suck tbh tho. You need really good internet connection to stream and game at the same time

My husband is setting up his gaming stuff in the truck rn. This man balances his relationship with God, his career, his games and hobbies, and his family. I'm so proud of the growing we've both done in Jesus Christ and our bible study and how we are more disciplined in our time management so that theres still time for fun and games but it doesn't control us like it used to. God comes first and we are always still growing and imporving. Being mindful and creating a decorative neat set up like this is what we are aiming for you did a great job. God bless 🙏🏽
I've considered getting into trucking every time I look away I feel drawn back to it. I've heard both good and bad things but this really shows its what you make of it nothing better than gaming and getting to travel

I wish the majority felt this way. I am a Foreman to a diesel shop that conducts Maintenace on multiple fleets including our own units we rent and lease. 95 percent of the sleepers, the interiors, COMPLETE FILTH. I have been in a handful where the drivers keep them really clean and organized with cool setups, even smells good! BUT DAMN... let's just say, I have called biohazard cleanup crews to clean the interiors of some of these trucks lol

It's crazy how similar our decoration tastes are, I've got hella interior lighting plus sound bar, same keyboard, same mouse, and a gaming laptop sitting on a fan 😂 Hell down to the same disco light from Pilot lmao

Truckers nowadays have some slick entertainment options. Back when I started in 2002 I had a Game Boy Advance and a pocket tv with a 3 inch screen; and had to listen to the old vets gripe about how lucky I was to have that, because when they started in the 80's all they had for entertainment was books, magazines and the radio.

I'm not sure if I could downgrade to laptop gaming as my current rig licks the crap out if all currently existing gaming laptops. But this is super cool and very creative with the space available. I would love to see if its possible to do some further cable routing to make it more clean but your truck is sick asf dude. Keep it up! Double bonus points on the razer periphery.
All that heat has nowhere to go in a gaming laptop that is the downfall of it truly, the parts can perform much better if you take them out of their shell. Its a shame we have not found a much more efficient method of cooling these beasts because there are laptops out there that have really sick specs.
@HOAGIE I know there are a bunch of micro rigs that deliver similar performance but im not sure if I want to spend double for micro components... truly a shame indeed. I am waiting for another leap in computer design that will hopefully lessen the package but maintain high performance levels.
Tbh a $2k Lenovo Legion/RTX would run basically any game really well, it comes down to the heat as mentioned.
@@ReubenBuenes I must admit I am spoiled by my current rig as it doesn't just run games really well. 4k 144hz on most titles is a joke and I'm not sure if I can give that up.....

I just built a fully custom gaming setup in my passenger seat area, custom desk, mostly wireless parts, so when I am not driving I can put everything away into a storage bin. Best part is, I have a fully custom gaming pc, not a laptop, a gaming pc.
did the company let you remove the passenger seat? how do you store your pc? i worry about the GPU breaking off from traveling on bumpy roads
@@shoprat Nope, I use the passenger seat as my gaming chair, the desk is built around it to allow the chair to move freely.
The GPU has a brace, and since it is small form factor, it's a pretty tight fit anyway.
The brace is just something you would find in prebuilt systems. Not to mention my truck is a brand new nextgen t680, so roads are a lot smoother in comparison to older trucks.

Lmao in the US you can only drive 11 hours a day... last I checked thats 13 hours of not driving... You sleep for 13 hours so when ur not driving ur sleeping? This guy get to chill or party while waiting, you probably get mad and complain
@@InvestigatorPierce idk who you are talking to but if its to me then yes we drive a total of 11 hours a day, then take a 10 hour break, i do not sleep all 10 hours. I dont know a single driver who does LOL just like a regular job i wouldnt get off work and go straight to bed, I'd eat dinner, have some nice down time and relax, and then go to bed. Just like I do in my truck. Some of you keyboard warriors need to chill and use your brain LOL

Nice set up, mine was similar minus the disco lights, and I had play station instead pc…same size tv probably I stuffed the biggest one I could fit in a freightliner cascadia (Miss that job so much) OTR was awesome

It looks smaller but it isnt, scania like Bjor mentioned has so much room for a lot of stuff. The bigger problem would be getting stable connection for gaming without paying a lot of money every Month. xD
