Is that you the Russian bear ?
If so, are you still toiling for Tasrail ?

G'day Match, Thanks, I now remember his surname.
My grey matter tends to forget things these days.

@@aussiealco No worries, would love to see a bit more Tassie stuff if you've got it! Some of your memories of your time on the island in a thread on Failpage would be of great interest to us too!

      G'day Match,
There are a couple of my Tassie video clips lurking in my You Tube channel.
I also have a couple of DVDs for sale at Alcoworld at Ingleburn NSW.
One features Tasrail AN, ATN, and PN era, mostly EEs with the couple of EBR clips and an EE cab ride, dubbed The Island where EEs did rule.
I did pen an article about my Tassie footplate era for Motive Power magazine.
I think that that was published sometime in a 2008 issue, but I forget now.
I do have a couple of threads in Rail Page forums, but nought about Tassie.
Except that is for a quick comment re the Railton cement train incident.
Now been over a decade since I escaped back to the mainland.
Hence, me Tassie reminiscing would be well Out of Date.
      Steve.

Great video, those kitty cats have a nice growl when you can hear it over the whine of the transmission!

Sounds like my cats at the dinner table. (freeze for a second, then a paw flies).

G'day Scott, from memory the EBR had four classes of diesel loco. The 10 class and 11 class enduring til the end. Both the 10 class and 11 class were built by Walkers QLD. The four of the 10 class were originally Paxman V12 donks, but were upgraded to match the 11 class. The seven 11 class had Cat donks and were similar to the DH class of QR with cab height, but had more oomph. The 10 class had a lower height cab. Three 11 class and one upgraded 10 class appearing in my footage.

G'day Joanne, Yes, I tend to attempt to multi-task when I am at the library.
Hence, typos can occur and not get noticed.
Two left thumbs on my hands.
      Steve.
