    A Bidet converter kit allows you to take your existing toilet and turn it into a toilet that includes washing functionality, with very minimal effort and installation know-how. Today, we're going to talk about a variety of different Bidet converter kits and how to pick the one that's going to suit your needs the best. My name is Daniel Johnson, I'm your Bidet expert and I'm the owner of manybidets.com, where over the past eight years we've sold over ten thousand Bidets.
    When you first hear about Bidet converter kits, you've probably heard about Bidet attachments, these are simple Non-electric Bidets. This is a pretty common example; Lux and Tushy tend to be the two most popular Non-electric attachment models. They tend to be all plastic and they tend to operate based on water pressure. Then, the nozzles are spring controlled, so once the water pressure dies off, the nozzles go into hiding. Now, these units sit between your existing toilet seat and the toilet bowl itself and can offer adjustable position water pressure and temperature, with hot and cold. The dilemma is that, because this is a Non-electric unit. If this is going to offer hot water, you need to connect it to a hot water source like a sink. So, you're going to be running a wash for a while with cold water before that water stream gets warm. Making us ask the question, “Is it really a warm water wash if most of your wash is cold, before the warm water kicks in?”. Now, one of the many dilemmas with a Non-electric attachment is the fact that you're looking at a low quality product. Now, they come in at a very low price point, so you get a lot for what you pay, but you're not paying a lot. Hence the fact that they can't offer the highest quality products on the market, because they don't have the funds to do so, at that price point.
    The GoBidet is our top recommended Non-Electric attachment for a few reasons. First of all, it's going to fit practically in the toilet. Second of all, it's made completely out of metal and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Now, looking at a Non-Electric attachment like this, you're looking at prices anywhere from about thirty bucks up to about ninety dollars, versus the GoBidet: where you're looking at about a hundred and fifty dollars. Fully metal, lifetime warranty; plastic, maybe a year and a half warranty. You're going to be paying more for this, period, but in our opinion it's worth the extra money. This still runs into the same other dilemmas that you....

    I would never give up my heated toilet seat. 🥶 Old house no heat in bathroom. On the electric seats does the electrical plug take up the entire outlet or would I still be able to use the second outlet to plug in a hair dryer? Do these work with round seat toilets.

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed! It's one of the most under valued features till customers get their seat and try it! The heated seat works with round bidet seats as well, and the second plug would still be open for use :-)

    Will any of the bidets you carry work with a one-piece toilet? We just purchased Water Ridge one-piece toilets from Costco for both of our bathrooms. They have seats that click off for easy cleaning. I don't think anything can be installed under the seat as the attachment would prevent the seat from clicking in. Maybe a sprayer unit would work?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your question! Not all one-piece toilets are the same and not all bidets are the same so we can't say for sure that any bidet will work however looking at the Water Ridge toilet it looks like it should be compatible with most bidets. The "quick release" seats do have connectors that are a bidet different but they should still be able to be removed (might just be a bit more elbow grease involved). If you would like us to take a look, email us at support@manybidets.com and we can be of more help!

    How much electricity does it take up? Thanks for the videos!

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Top pull tends to be about 13 to 14 amps. But while it’s not being used, the electricity it uses is very minimal

    The plastic bidets what is the weight they work and LAST?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on which one you get. If you're looking for a durable seat with a high weight limit, I'd recommend checking out the Eco Nova bidet seat: www.manybidets.com/product/eco-nova-bidet-seat/ 400 pound weight limit, but we've had customers over 600 pounds use it consistantly without issues. It's a solid seat tht we've had no issues with.

    We have the Brondell non-electric S102 Swash. We have had it for less than a week. Yes, it feels like you are being blasted out by a firehose. We are thinking about installing a valve in the line to control the pressure.

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a common issue we have with non-electrics. A shutoff that you leave partly open is one solution. The other is going full electric, where the seat controls the pressure.

    • @bighatstephens
      @bighatstephens ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ManyBidets I can't afford a full electric, so we'll have to go with the valve for now. I do plan to upgrade though.

    I installed a bidet converter kit to my toilet and absolutely love it. I was tired of using so much expensive toilet paper. I was also shocked when I learned that many, many millions of virgin trees were being cut down every year to make toilet paper. Ever since I started using a bidet (about four months now), I am cleaner and fresher -- and that has increased the quality of my life. And in four months, I've used just 4 rolls of toilet paper instead of four every two weeks.

    I can't buy an electric bidet because I don't have an electrical outlet near the toilet & can't get one installed because I rent. So I need a bidet converter kit or a non-electric bidet seat. Do you have any recommendations? Preferably the highest rated with great customer reviews.

    • @ManyBidets

      I'd recommend either the www.manybidets.com/product/saniwise-elongated-bidet-seat/ or the www.manybidets.com/product/gobidet-bidet-seat-attachment/

      A converter kit does not use electricity. I have one and really like it -- even though someday I'd like a REAL bidet so that I can control the water temperature.

    With the price of toilet paper going up, a 24 roll pack over $20 as an example, that's really flushing your money down the toilet. We have got to get away from using toilet paper, which has been around for 100 years. It is one way to save trees and to help improve the water systems in our country.
