It's not often having a woman explain plumbing , I will say this , that was a most excellent instruction video , , covered any questions I would ask , , simply well spoken , thank you
Great video! I was a little intimidated and waiting for hubby to do it (it’s been 2wks). I watched your video and didn’t need to read instructions. I am a visual person and I learned immediately and was confident that I could do it. Installed in my 2 bathrooms with no issues. Thanks for the easy instructions!
I watched several of these vids, all being installed by men, and yours is BY FAR THE BEST video for anyone, make it female, who might think they are incapable of using tools for home repairs or installations. A child could easily install this bidet following your clear & precise description -especiallt because you clarify all those little things that are glossed over in the vids by men. Every doo-hicky & thingamajig is explained! Thank you!
You’re a natural at explaining step by step up instructions in an easy to follow manner. My grandmother just had a spinal fusion surgery and had trouble wiping so this has been a blessing. Thanks for the guidance.
I didn't even bother looking at the written instructions because my eyesight is so bad. Your video was perfect and now I have a working bidet. Thank you!
You really are a natural at providing detailed instruction. Please don't be offended and of course simply ignore this essay length comment if you prefer. That said, I'd like to offer some professional insight. 1.) You have been misinformed about the proper use of thread sealant, (in the case of your video it's the Teflon tape.) Please, let folks know never to use Teflon tape on threaded fittings that include rubber seals or gaskets. a.) It's not at all necessary and can cause fittings to split or sealing surfaces to leak. The watertight seal is created between the rubber seal and the edge of a pipe and fitting or direct contact with internal surfaces of the respective fittings. b.) Pipe thread sealant and Teflon tapes are designed for use on tapered threaded galvanized, brass and plastic piping/fittings (and black iron gas pipe), but never for compression or flare fittings. c.) Faucet and toilet tank supply lines are technically - compression fittings. Most now have rubber or neoprene seals. In earlier times and still on occasion, you might find compression fittings which still use a plastic or copper "ferrel" to seal around the O.D. of a rigid supply line. 2.) To completely empty a toilet tank, it's best to hold the flush lever down after the flush is complete and until no water is left above the height of your flapper or flush valve. a.) In some instances, it may be prudent to use a sponge to remove additional water from the bottom of the toilet tank, otherwise a small bowl and towel may not contain the amounts of water stored between the top edge of the flush valve (flapper valve) and the bottom of the tank. A visual inspection of remaining fluids should provide that judgment call. b.) I have found it helpful to assure non-plumbers that the water stored in the "water closet" or toilet tank, is fresh potable water, same as the water from your kitchen sink. No sanitary compromise by exposure to that liquid.
Thank you so much for the easy instructions! I have been trying to figure out if I needed a plumber to put this thing in or not, because I have chronic illnesses. But after your video, I’m pretty sure I can do it myself. Thank you so much for such clear step-by-step instructions!
Perfect installation thanks to this video.I didn't bother opening instructions because I watched the full video before I made the purchase. I hope LUXE Bidet recognizes your influence. :) Thanks so much!
I have had this for a couple of years and will NEVER do without it again! LOVE IT! I will be so, so grateful after I have back surgery soon, too! A FANTASTIC dice every woman needs! Guys benefit, too, of course. They are recommended to cut down or eliminate urinary tract infections also.
@@RachelDavis705 Been 15 year for me anywhere I enter a toilet I have a wet paper towel in hand. Usually at the washing sinks they have paper towels, I wet some three of those and walk in the toilet, after I clean up with toilet paper then I completely wipe off with the damp papers I brought in. If they have a trash can inside the toilet that is where the used paper towels go, if not I walk out with them and throw them by the cans near the washing sinks.
Ii watched a few times for my sequencing and did it myself. Good pressure and the cleanse is comfortable. Maybe a little more surprising in winter with a colder water but what a great idea.
Thanks for the demonstration. I successfully installed it. I feel so good today, though I am a software engineer but i have never feel so accomplished, not even while coding. Thanks a lot ,🙏

This is better than having your PR approved and a green Jenkins pipeline build?! Is the water heated? Ice water in winter on a sack doesn't seem enjoyable.
Thank you so much for showing the most simple way of bidet’s installation. Your video is very detailed and clear that very easy to understand, even for women. I have bought a bidet unit since 4 moths back but it has been sitting in my bathroom just because l wasn’t very confident of just reading its instructions. Now l know how. Thanks again for the very helpful tips: rags, buckets and the toilet seat levelers. Will do this project after Christmas.

Hello, I wanted to express how insightful and informative your bidet video was. You managed to make the bidet assembly appear less intimidating for beginners. Thank you
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. Before now I didn't even know what a bidet was and now I look forward to having one in my own home. Thanks for the easy-to-understand way you explained the process. Keep 'em coming!
Just watched your video because I totally am thinking of buying a bidet. What an amazing step by step video! You are a natural at this. Thanks for sharing this video with all us out here. TH-cam has an invaluable asset
Nice video, thanks for posting! I appreciate you speaking clearly and there not be any distractions in the background, i.e., pets, music, etc. One suggestion if you're interested...If you ever redo the vid you may consider demonstrating how to wrap the tape as it is not as easy as you make it sound. The tape does not have any adhesive, so it just slides around and around unless you know how to use it. You'd think anyone tackling such a project would be DIY-savvy, but it should not be assumed everyone knows everything you do. Just a suggestion. You shouldn't worry about the length of a video when you are teaching something...most people who watch instructional videos do not know what we're doing so every detail matters. Thanks again for posting, I was uncertain if I should purchase and try to install myself and after watching your vid, I am confident I can do it. 😊😊
@@EquipMeOT Just wanted to say thanks again. Please keep sharing your home installation experiences...I am pretty sure this bidet will not be my last install as my parents are getting up in years and you are easy to follow along with...so nice compared to other instructional videos where they rush through, and their dogs play in the background while heavy metal music is blaring over the sound of their voices. 😂 Thank you!
The was really helpful! The tips like holding a bowl over the seat to block the water when you test it will save me and lots of other people from having to wipe up the water that shoots across the floor & onto the opposite wall! (I have a small bathroom.) Anything to prevent a mess or causing oneself to have extra work is good advice and I watched another vid where the guy tested it without anything to catch the spray and got a surprise! I love that little wing tightened on that hose! I doubt the 110 model has that, but it's a great idea! Thanks for reminding us to consult the troubleshooting section of the manual to make adjustments or fix problems, & for pointing out that the device can be adjusted forward or back using those slots!

Your instructions are so simple and your videos are so easy and pleasant to watch. I just wanted to say thank you so much!❤
Excellent video, been using this model of bidet for over 5 years now..... Takes 7- 10 to really understand the greatness of bidets as you will feel MUCH cleaner after each restroom use..... ONLY complaint regarding this particular model ( So other models may also have this issue ) is after 2-year the cheap plastic chrome looking knob will break from its of usage, so I usually get the 2nd plastic chrome knob from the back that it rarely used and swap them .... Very simple
I'm just a guy in his 20s considering installing a bidet because it seems to make sense and this video made it super easy and straightforward. I will probably use this video as my guide for installation. Thank you for the time and clear explanation! ☺️
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I really appreciate at the end when you showed how it sprays. I have been looking for a video to see how it sprays and I've seen several but this is the only one that takes the time to show how it sprays and takes the time to show the little latch on the sprayer and all that stuff. We’ve had ours for a few years and I love them. One thing I want to mention though, is our new toilets came with seats that cupped the rim of the toilet. We didn’t know at the time that it would be a problem, but after a while the constant sitting on the seat created pressure on the bidets and cracked them. We didn’t know that toilet seats came two ways, flat and cupped. With the Lux Bidet you need a seat that is completely flat on the bottom. When we bought two new seats we had to replace one of the bidets. I still want to replace the second one because it still has a crack. The flat bottom seat sits correctly on the bidet.
Great install video. My only quibble is that the male fitting on the tank doesn’t need tape because the diverter has a rubber seal, like the hose connector has.
Nice explanations and demo. I presently have a unit that comes with a seat. I am happy to find there are several retro-fit types and plan to instal on on the kids' toilet.
Depending on your toilet. You may need longer bolts to hold the toilet seat and bidet. Which you can find in any hardware store. Otherwise pretty straightforward to install
I studied you video carefully and installed mine in like 10 minutes. Thank you! Btw: the water in level one doesn’t really seem any different from the higher ones. Level one is good enough tho! This thing is amazing!

thanks, you are so helpful, and clear in describing the process of Installing the Bidet.
Depending on your toilet. You may need longer bolts to hold the toilet seat and bidet. Which you can find in any hardware store. Otherwise pretty straightforward to install
We have the 320 style, love it, no more TP save more with some flannel fabric cut into square for drying and laundry and reuse.
That is awesome!

Btw: the water in level one doesn’t really seem any different from the higher ones. Level one is good enough tho! This thing is amazing!
