Hi there, thanks for the video! I was trying it out and I keep getting this error: "The selected artwork contains an element the cannot be used in an art brush" I saw someone commented with this error but there wasn't any solution as the problem solved itself for that person. For me it's persisting, any ideas why?. Thanks a lot! By the way, I'm using Illustratior 24.0.
It's because you used gradient fill instead of blend tool.
Can this metode save for png format sir?

I think it can't be used for png or making it into png, because this technique must use a dark background
hi, I loved the video but when I use a blend tool I can only make the gradient appear when I click on the white rectangle and not the black one, and when I apply the brush to the text the neon doesn't appear, and when I increase the stroke all I get are strokes leaning in, did u know how to resolve?
Ungroup all of them then apply brush
After that change the blending mode to color dodge
Hi, thanks for the tutorial, when I apply the brush on the shape it appears to be not fully connected, you can see a gap like if the letter is cut somewhere!
that's caused by applying this brush to open path, but if we apply it to close path its fully connected

@@cr4ft251 well, when trying to make the first step (the ellipse inside the square) make sure u don't switch between stroke and fill(i forgot the procedure) but mostly it was stroke and fill problem when i made the ellipse or the square!
I want to do this for a solid text shape "&" and I'm having trouble with the concaves turning filling in.
did you set the overlap on the art brush option panel when you created the brush?
Hi , I followed your steps but when I apply colour dodge, for abstract as well as geometric shapes , only one line of red appears rest all stays white .The whole colour doesn't change. Why is this so?
Maybe u have to ungroup them first before apply colordoge

It's the background don't use 100% black, use very2 dark blue or dark orange
i dont know why but the neon effect is being applied on the box and not on the text please help
Select the text and chose the brush
hi i followed your video closely but when i apply colour dodge, the outline cant be seen with the black background. i had to off the black background to be able to see the outlines again. does anybody know why this is so?
Don't use 100% black
thank you! i have another question, when i increase the stroke to more than 2pt, the neon brush do not apply to some part of the curve of my outline.
have you set the overlaps on the artbrush options? 4:40

It's not working though I follow each and every steps such as your colors, brush steps etc. After doing color dodge the effect is done but not the flame red color like your screen. why ? I need the solve. Plz

BROTHER i have tried more than ten tyms this effect but i result all the tym i just find a breaked cut text when i apply neon brush auhhhhggggggggggggg i just tired to trying this again and again can u plz give some solution to perfectly apply neon brush over all the text?? reply me must..
Use bold font, use thin line, and for the background Don't use 100% black,
If u follow step by step u will get the same results, like artboard size and the font size

Ok , and second problem is when I click to create new air brush then a dialogue box open that you can not create air brush because it's an element? How I fix this problem
I think it's because you have an old version. maybe you can expand it first before making it an art brush.
