I only want the game within a game to return next season if they do it earlier. Like my fave still won the season and the finale was still amazing. But Ru waiting to shoehorn Eureka into the finale just felt so produced. It should've been done after Jan's elimination.

See, I think for Derrick Vs India in the Season 5 one, I could see them giving it to India, mainly for storyline reasons. Considering India had the big thing about whether she was lying in telling Shea that Alexis conspired to vote Shea out, and India and Alexis had that big blowup fight because of it (and apparently the two even still hate each other to this day), I could see the show pushing for India and Alexis to lip-sync in the next round. Plus, when Alexis voted for India in that episode, she literally said “Derrick was right about you”. So wouldn’t it make sense that India would beat Derrick, then Alexis avenges her by beating India? Also, unrelated: considering Ongina and Mayhem put their own names in the box when they were eliminated, I could easily see one or both of them pulling an A’Keria and straight-up refuse to participate in the game. Not sure which one, though.
I think it'd be Mayhem, because even if Ongina said Mariah/India didn't deserve to go home, she also said she wanted to stay (Yes, it sounds incoherent)

I do think wow has more sympathy towards Derrick than towards India, since they have her in the vegas show and they know she makes very good tv and with that edit they could easily bring her back for anything after the season
The double shantay originally happened because Adore quit AND because somebody was going home that episode. In this scenario, nobody is going home in the returning queens' episode.
I would hope Aja in that hypothetical would be a little strategic and actually choose Trixie. She is not a lip syncer and that would be an exit fit for her, Aja fought her way back and eliminated someone she could out perform. If, however, the plan is to make Trixie win from there, they could edit her winning that lip sync to validate her win a little more, though that would probably backfire... Also! How do you leave the timeline there? The most important thing about the returning queens episode is Ben eliminating herself! When would she do that in that world?
If we were to see the game within a game again, I'd want it mid season, like when the uk season 2 queens came back from lockdown. It felt like Bimini was the one brought back from the competition and they got the actual time to slay the rest of the season! Here Eureka didn't had any time to redeem herself, even if she had a very strong track-record she was still "the comeback queen", even with her win. MAKE IT MATTER! I think for future all stars we'd need a new format. The lipsync assassin one really worked this season (for me at least) but if it's renewed, I think it'll just transform into a "do you like this queen that we're not sure to bring back next all star ?".
I agree. But, I think the very last episode before the finale should be a direct Lipsync for your legacy between the winners. Some pointed it out that given that Rajah had lost the Boom Clap lipsync, there were 20,000 dollars to win in the top 5 ep. If Eureka lost, they really would make the final all star win 120 000 dollars...

I honestly really liked this format. It gave us more time and reminded us of all the queens and it also servers as a redemption. I think AS6 did the returning queen thing really well

I would personally love the idea of seeing the game within the game happen again on another All Stars season, but I would agree if they do it a little bit earlier, like when there's a top 5 at least, cause that way it wouldn't feel a little "forced" like it felt on AS6 and it would prevent most of the drama that it caused this season (like people saying that Eureka was forced to be back on the top 4 or the fact that they crushed Trinity's hopes and dreams of being in the finale) if they do it again I hope is like in AS4 that they did the Lypsinc Elganza Extravaganza when there were more Queens so the returning Queen (in this case Latrice) had a chance to compete and not get a secured place in the finale. Plus the game within the game gave us the opportunity to see each Queen in the competition perform and see how well they performed in a Lypsinc (except for Akeria but even with her we know how she Lypsinc due to season 11)
I love the idea, but having it so late in the season gives the returning queen no chance to rebuild their track record into one that can reasonably win. Have it at the halfway mark and have the final lip sync be against one of the current queens to get their spot, and I’ll buy into it

It depends on the song too so I think these speculations should be taken with a grain of salt. Who does better can completely change depending on the song.
I wasn’t really a fan of the game within a game on Allstars 6 as well Eureka might of not even left and and silky did all that just to then not get it even tho some of hers were a little sloppy but she still put so much in. And we didn’t get much out of the queens that left early as we barely see them. I think al2 did best bringing back the out queens as it was done earlier on and we got to see more of them in the work room if that makes sense

Now of course, the production could rig it and make the assassin win or magicaly announce the episode as a non elimination, since this is the only AS season to not have a final 4, they could just... Make it a top 4 finale? tl;dr Alexis coming back in AS5 might actually change the winner
honestly I love the lipsync smackdown game within a game thing. the only thing I would change about it is that I would put it a bit earlier on the season like the returning queen would enter to a new top6 or so, thus it doesn't feel that unfair for the rest of the queens. HOWEVER, I think I still like better the lalaparuza from all stars 4, it was by far the best episode of the season and if fairly judged and with the girls really giving it their all (just like the lipsync assassins in AS6 compared to the AS5 ones) it would be amazing to watch every season. anyways, any of those returning challenges would be nice for me since they both give the queens a chance to stand up for themselves in the AS seasons, which with this format they never get
For AS1, I think having a tournament bracket and have the the duos face off against each other. Team Mandora faces off against each other and Pandora wins. Team Brown Flowers faces off and Nina wins. Pandora and Nina face off and so on until the end. Since the finale was ultimately one queen against another, this would prelude to it.
