Enjoying your videos as usual Dale. I don't always make a comment on your videos but always give you a thumbs up. Merry Christmas! and the best to you and family in 2021. Cheers, Midge
Love it DB... Love seeing the rust because it confirms that my restoration is totally on par for course...Excellent looking work on installing the new door step... Looks really good. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you my friend..
DB, It‘s a bugger when panels are cut short but you made good the repair, I would stick some thin wire down the A pillar so you can hook it on to the new loom when you need to fish it back up to the roof line. Cheers Dave
Not a criticism but just an observation are you using the normal iPhone mic? Your videos are always a lot more quiet than everyone else and have to stick the volume right up. I got a novo mic for £30 to try on mine, will let you know how it goes if your interested
@@SunnyMiniuk cheers mate, all feedback is welcome. I have two cameras i use. One has a good mic and the other isn't too great. It takes quite a bit of time editing them to try and level out the sound between the two, trouble is the camera with the mic isn't great a close up footage shots, something for me to look into in the new year👍
I’ll let you know and well you can check for yourself when I post the video. But this one had great reviews for the price on TH-cam and shocked me on a blind test with the rode one. For £30 if it makes that much difference it’s a steal. I’m brand new at this so not in a place to criticise anyone ahahhahahaha! Watch this space see how it does
Just doing this bit on my MPI, realized I might have made a mistake cutting all the hinge panels out, I was considering even removing the inner A post stiffener for a new one, but that's my datum and only the lower edge is a bit rusty on the surface so will clean up ok.

Thanks Midge, really appreciated. All the best to you and the family too
Top work, the car’s progressing nicely. Had the same issue on the door frame with blowing through the metal, so frustrating👍
Thanks mate, the metal was thinner where i had welded the brace bar to but got there in the end
👍All the best for Xmas and new year

Yeah if the metal is good there is no point in repkacing more than needed
444th view and 44th like, must be a sign, lol.
