I think DeeJay does not get the recognition he deserves. His voice is clearer than fine crystal. I’d love to hear a duet of him and Geoff on Smooth Criminal. 😁
It's my opinion that VP's harmonies and arrangements can not be beaten. They are superb, every single time. And this is no exception. And DeeJay was the perfect addition for this song.
Had to pause this in the middle to listen to the Patreon premier of their next video. And it proves the saying : no matter how much I like this one, my favorite is the next one! I think you’ll love it.
Always love your references to your wife. I remember that in one Voiceplay reaction (don't remember which one, maybe Golden Hour) you said you were going to text her right after you closed your recording. This arrangement by Geoff was so sexy, I just love it!
First - I hope you and your wife have a lovely anniversary. It happens to fall on a special day in my family (2 wedding anniversaries and 1 birthday) Next - I so agree that they really amped up the sexiness on this. I too was reminded of ‘Gimme Fever’. Geoff’s arrangement gave this such a groove. I hope you played it for your wife when she got home. Perfect for a ‘slow dance’
Happy early anniversary!! You can play that song & y'all can slow dance!! VP consistently blows my mind with not only their ridiculous talent but with those intricate arrangements too. Btw, J None just dropped a solo album today! (He's my favorite! 😉💜)
I know that this is an iconic Michael Jackson song. And I’ve enjoyed this song in the past. But at this point in my life I really prefer this cover. I like the fact that it’s more intimate because they slowed it down. I like the stripped down jazzy, bluesy, sultry sexy sound (and look😊) of it. I really appreciate that even though DeeJay‘s voice could easily be mistaken for Michael Jackson’s, they did not slavishly copy the song. They rearranged it to feature his voice but make it their own. I love Geoff’s bassline, Eli’s gorgeous clear tones and the fact that we got to hear Layne sing. I think my two favorite parts are when Cesar and Layne are singing together and right after Geoff sings and DeeJay gets to riff for a while. It reminds me of the Motown sounds that I grew up with. This is definitely going to be one of my favorites.

They just got nominated for consideration for a Grammy for this arrangement! Just thought you'd like to know
You're right -- Deejay is the PERFECT person to have in an MJ song. They absolutely nailed this one!
And congratulations on 9 years of marriage! 🎉

The little Cesar and Layne duet....

There are no words that can accurately describe this. The harmonies are smooth. This is easily one of their best yet.
Some songs are just timeless. This is one of them and VP does them justice.
Great song ... Well done, VoicePlay ... love your expressive reaction, Dave 😊

This arrangement by Geoff was so sexy, I just love it!
@@ilonadever8249, it was Geoff's Wicked Game. We all remember that reaction, it seems 😁😁😁
It’s like a jazz mixed with pop is how I always thought of it
Congratulations on your 9 years brother. Excellent reaction as always.❤
I think this was the perfect cover. DeeJay was absolutely perfect for this!
Voiceplay plus DJ is pure heat! I need a fan! Lol!
This is smooth as silk and still blows off your socks.

Love this beautiful, classic arrangement. So smooth! Definitely one to be enjoyed with your partner. 😉
Great reaction to an incredible cover of a great song!
❤thank you, I think they pick the perfect person to feature for each song they do, love your reaction
Well done been waiting on your reaction knew you would love this 😊😊😊😊
This is my all time favorite Micheal Jackson song so I was excited they covered it❕❗ Cesar and that haircut though *Chefs Kiss*
Congratulations on nine years!
HEEESS BAAAAACK. Hope you had a great vacation while you was gone ^^

Cesar didn't cut his hair, he's had that for years. Normally he just has it laying down though. You can see it in their Dream On cover as well.
Thanks 😊
This has an implied 12/8 shuffle, considerably more pronounced on the MJ original… Blaine brings it on for the outro
I'm so happy Deejay is back! I love his voice and the way he seduces us through the camera.❤❤❤❤❤
Great reaction. Thanks. This sounds so smooth
I'd love to see you react to Lawrence - Don't Lose Site (acoustic video) if you are not aware of them. I think they will impress you.
that was fun
love it ❤
