Anorak If I’m being honest, I’m fairly certain Bierce will backstab the Player Character the moment she has what she wants, but Malak is at best indifferent towards the PC’s desires, if not downright opposed.

The way I see it, the game is called "Dark Deception" for a reason. Both Bierce and Malak are deceiving you, and I feel like the game ends up with you fighting one or both of them. Sooner or later, one of them is going to turn on you. But then again, they BOTH might do it. For one thing, Bierce isn't exactly squeaky clean herself. Whose to say she won't take the ring from you the minute you finish making it for her? Not to mention that Malak has tried to end you at every challenge you come up against. He's just as likely to kill you as Bierce is, even if he is right about Bierce becoming more powerful once that ring is formed. You can't trust EITHER of them.
Malak logic:
Malak in chapter one: "This is your ONLY warning! Help her and you will suffer!" Malak in chapter three: You give her that ring peice, and you're going to regret it!
The part where you ran into the little school girl and kinda shook your mouse out of fear just to realize she was still stunned was quite funny tbh

That was so cute for no reason at all lol
Anyone got freaked out by the way he plays? I watch him and there are moments that I felt like he's joking with the monsters, especially Malak. I knew he's a specialist but it still gives me goosebumps when I saw that.

I like how you can tell each level gets longer, and longer, and longer... imagine what the final level is going to be like... and how long it’ll take.
So how's chapter 4?
Something I noticed: Malak never insults his minions when you foil his plans. He calls the Doom Ducky his "loyal pet", and asks you to keep the Goliath Clowns "laughing while (he) dies." Agatha calls him Daddy and doesn't seem to be afraid of him, and if you believe that Agatha was the girl Bierce sacrificed, he basically adopted her and gave her a schoolhouse. He even shows up alongside the monsters to aid them. He could say something like "you useless idiots, why can't you catch the mortal?!" but he never does. He always only blames the mortal.
Meanwhile, Bierce keeps taunting you over and over, and laughs when you die. If you don't gather enough soul shards in time, she'll demand that you hurry up and gather them. She's helping you, but she doesn't really care about your well being. Ironically, Malak seems to care about his minions more than Bierce cares about hers.

I agree with you, but at the same time, I disagree with you.
Because if you can actually observe and point things out quickly, then you'd realize Bierce isn't an Asshole as you make her out to be. She completely had her reasons on why she keeps on taunting you over and over. And laughs when we die.
However, I'm not gonna explain everything in my comment... It's obvious I'll start a Fight....
