Finally a reviewer that don't like aquaguard. Aquaguard will peel off overtime. Happened to my Aer city sling 2
Was just talking to the employees at the NYC store today. Guy said they’ll replace the bag if that happens just so you know. I was also curious about it.

Yo, you're killing it! This review should benefit you out. In real life, when you're out on the Go, CAS2 is way better and more secure. Stuff doesn't just fall out of the slots, like Aer's pockets where is prone in damaging EDCs since there's only 1 main compartment.
Don't worry, every time somebody watches a video I've benefit. And that's good. Motivation for me to keep making great videos.

Well done. I do like the Griffin and lately the Greenroom 136 Slingshifter in EPX400. Tempted by this as I am a fan of EG....but hard to give up on the Slingshifter.
The slingshifter was my first sling bag and I love it. Recently got the Bellroy X Carryology Chimera sling and It checks all the boxes. The slingshifter is now my gym edc bag and the Chimera sling my daily carry

I know you answered my question in your tomtoc vid but man, I’m SO torn between this CAS2 and the Tomtoc Aviator 3.5. Both look very good but am interested which would have a better use of pockets and would be more practical. Love your vids by the way. Your honesty is transparent and we benefit from it.
If I was picking - I'd pick the TomToc. But know that it's just a slightly less high quality bag in terms of feel in your hands....but I do prefer it.
@@ThePerfectBag thanks man I think I’m gonna pull the plug on it. I always wished they would have put a zipper pocket inside the original sling for my sunglasses. I’m glad they fixed that problem. On a side note: is there anything other than materials that is different from the original sling?
man I'm jealous of that griffin. Such a shame that those collaborations are so expensive and in such small numbers
Hi. I don't recall Evergoods mentioning this was made from Cordura?
Nylon yes. And you’re correct, cordura is a brand. Evergoods uses different weights of nylon in their products and the specific fabric is listed on each bags page.
and I believe Evergoods developed some of their own stuff rather than buying in a branded fabric.
I have the original one and like it but can't understand they ever thought that strap design was a good idea.
My pictures from my Japan trip even look kinda dumb because of the dangling strap ends.
But it was super convenient to carry everything.
Had a memobottle in it. Fitted perfectly with what I needed throughout the day.
Nice comparison, I have an undyed mhp already.
How are the CAS2 and MHP when worn in fanny pack mode?
They both work that way. The mountain hip pack works better in my opinion.
