No problem!
This man's ability to clearly, thoroughly and succinctly explain these tools is outstanding. If I tried to make a tutorial about this, I'd have to think long and hard about how to present it in this way that seems to come naturally to him. And he has the same last name as me, to boot!
This guide was a great help in a little project I'm working on, as I've lost many of my Photoshop skills from years of disuse. Thank you.
Really well done -- THANKS!
Any ideas why drawing a circle FROM the CENTER just will not work on a Mac desktop? I have tried everything, including the click/Alt. Never has worked - not even one time - over the years.
I have not see such a great tutor like you in my entire life. This my first time how can I get more tutorials like this is there any link or something.
Just subscribe :)
How can I make a tapered straight line?? - great video!
Thanks you
Hello sir. What version of Photoshop are you using? Thank you in advance.
Excellant
I wish I could find a tutorial that tells me how to find this elusive shape properties bar with the fill, stroke, etc.
Helllo Brendan. Thanks for the new usefull and great video. Could you please make a little video about what is Lightroom and what can it do Photoshop can`t?
I actually have a video I made a while back about that: Should You Use LIGHTROOM or PHOTOSHOP?

@@BrendanWilliamsTutorials Oh. Thank you. Didn't see it
@2:46 after I create a shape, it doesn't become active and there are no options above such as the fill and stroke.
Hey 👋 Can this be done on an iPad too?
I'm getting really frustrated because I can't see those four little dots on the corners of the rectangle when I make the shape. Also in the shape settings bar at the top I cannot see that curve or angle setting that's between the gear symbol and "Align Edges" settings. Please help
Hey, when I use the subtract front shape tool, the shapes turn white and the screen goes to the color that I've chosen to fill the shapes with. What's causing this to occur?
What photoshop version are u using? For me, I use photoshop 2022 and I'm confusing now
This was recorded with PS 2022 as well
Hello, I am using photoshop 2023 and I try putting stroke and shadow of my shapes its not working and I don't know how to fix it I have followed your steps but still not working
My Shapes keep merging to the background what is the setting that turns this off?
Oh hello, I want to split and separate the individual parts. Thanks...
Succinct and clear instructions! if you do not understand what he explained, it might help if you spoke English
Olá amigo, vc não me respondeu. Abraços...
Every time I follow any of these tutorials to a T, they never work. I'm so done with Photoshop. I'm trying to do path operations at 7:50 but my settings for 'exclude' or 'combine' are all greyed out and no matter which or how many Shape layers I have selected, nothing changes. I literally wanted to make a rectangle with a triangle notched out of one side. I've tried adding an anchor point to one side and pulling in, but that just creates a semi-circular curve cut out, and then tried overlaying a square shape, rotated 45 degrees over the side in order to mask/exclude that and create the cut-out. Literally impossible, just gonna go back to Illustrator where things work properly. No idea why people use PS for Vector graphics.
iI am using PS 2020 and nothing like that
I want to draw a rectangle. Can't find the rectangle tool. Canva, here I come.
Btw that's not true vector shapes layer that you see on illustrator , Thanks 👍
It would've been useful if I had at least 50% of the options you have...
Why rush? Can’t follow…!
I have necer seen a tutorial EVER, that represents what I see in my program. EVER. on my Alien iMac no shape in tool bar, pressing U does nothing. Typical for tutorials. No fill Adjustments, shift does nothing. No options bar with settings. No fill colour. Nada! I quit! I'll print it on paper and colour it with a damn crayon.
