    Those Dougram look amazing. I've never collected them, but now I want them. Great video - thanks! I'm a Macross collector - in particular the DX Chogokin lines.
    Also Metal Build Gundam.

    I visited this store last week and there was hardly anything there. The No Way Home Spideys weren't on display. Pretty much everything was robot or Japanese anime figures. I wanted to see the Figuarts The Batman figure, but that wasn't even there. I can't find listings for that figure here, even though it's been released in parts of the US. Is this another case of Bandai US not releasing figures in Japan?

    • @KaijuDaddyJapan
      @KaijuDaddyJapan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah they really flipped everything for the robots event. They still had the Spider-Man figures near the exit though. Were they gone?
      Yeah I was wondering the same thing about the Batman figure. I’m not sure. Bandai has a weird way of operating and whoever runs the Figuarts Cinema line should be fed to some sharks. You probably would struggle to do a worse job than that person.
      I prefer the look of the MAFEX Batman anyway so it’s not a big deal to me. I’d much rather get that one.

      @@KaijuDaddyJapan The fact that the Bandai US division sometimes release US exclusives really rubs me the wrong way. It was bad enough not being able to get hold of US store and event exclusives from American brand releases, but now it's also happening with Japanese brands too. Oh well. I didn't plan on getting the Figuarts Batman as I have the McFarlanes, and I also prefer the look of the Mafex by a lot. But we have quite a wait for that figure, so I was interested to see how the Bandai one turned out for now. Are you considering either the Hot Toys or Queen Studios versions? Another annoyance is that Queen Studios don't ship to Japan, but I've seen a couple of Japanese retailers listing them for a slightly increased price.

      The fact we can’t get the Movie Realization line here anymore is insane as well as the Monsterarts con exclusives. I mean c’mon. That’s just ridiculous.
      I’m planning to get the Hot Toys one as it’s way more affordable and I’m not a huge Batman collector. If I were heavily into Batman, I’d probably get InArt.
      You checking out the Toy Sapiens event next week?

    • @Ian_TNR
      @Ian_TNR ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KaijuDaddyJapan The Movie Realizations make me very angry. I still haven't bitten the beskar bullet by ordering the Beskar Mando from overseas yet. I need it to complete my collection, but going from paying ¥8000 per figure to ¥25000 is very hard to accept.
      I'm a big Batman guy, but while I love the The Batman movie, and I like the suit, it's not my favorite so I don't think I'll pay InArt prices. Although, for US buyers, it's not a big difference from the Hot Toys price for the regular version.
      And yeah, I'll be going to Toy Sapiens. I thought I'd missed the ticket reservations as all the times slots had a "X" next to them last week. But received an email yesterday saying reservations were open, so I made a booking. Looking forward to seeing the N1 Starfighter. Not sure if I'll pick up any chrome Hot Toys though. I prefer to buy characters that have actually appeared on screen. We'll see, though. Sometimes I get too excited and spend money I shouldn't.

    • @KaijuDaddyJapan
      @KaijuDaddyJapan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can always pick up some of the chrome figures to use to trade later for other figures seeing as they’re much more limited and the aftermarket prices will definitely be higher. I’m considering getting another Arena Boba Fett if it’s available either to trade later for a figure I might have missed out on before or as a giveaway for the channel. Haven’t decided yet though.
      Hoping there are some extra surprises at Toy Sapiens for us.

    They should released more anime characters and not only focus on Kamen Rider or Dragon ball.
    Haikyuu, Fireforce, Hunterxhunter etc...
    Jjk and naruto is pretty good. Actually.

    • @KaijuDaddyJapan

      I think we would all like them to release more lines and more figures. They tend to do better quality with their domestic brands these days than with their overseas brands.
