The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

@@bazookajoe6760 Gtfoh! Michael didn’t molest children. He went to court and was found not guilty in 2005. The FBI investigated this man for years (without his knowledge) and found no evidence that he molested children. Btw that “Leaving Neverland” documentary has been debunked multiple times and has multiple proven lies in it. Stop being so easily brainwashed by the media and go do your research you fool!🙄

@@theresajones3996 it’s useless to educate people in this age. We’re in 2021 and ALL the receipts are easily available for people to research. The fact that they refuse to tells us one thing; they want Michael to be guilty, it’s something personal. It makes them feel better when they tell themselves that Michael was flawed too. It has nothing to do with Michael and actually being guilty. He’s innocent and that a fact. People who refuse- that’s their own business.

    • @theresajones3996

@@fldas17 Yes I absolutely agree. We’re in 2021 and people still believe that this man is guilty. We have the internet for a reason. It’s very easy to do your own research. Then they want to say there is a whole bunch of evidence to back up he’s guilty, but can’t provide any. They just keep bringing up the fact that Michael settled out of court or that he slept in bed with children. Even when you give people multiple facts they’ll still sit up here and try to say that MJ is guilty. It’s also funny how people watch one documentary and automatically let that decide that he’s guilty for them. It’s also the fact that they only look at one side. They don’t even try looking at Michael’s side before coming to a decision, they just automatically assume he’s a child molester. I agree with you Michael is innocent and that’s a fact. And the people who claim Michael molested them (Jordy, Gavin, James, and Wade) will all eventually get their karma. They’re going to get what’s coming to them real soon. Period.

@@theresajones3996 Yes, it’s two people; gullible people, who are foolish enough to believe anything they hear and then the people who simply don’t WANT Michael to be innocent as I said before. Both refusing to think critically. And actually jordan and Gavin were both pretty much victims of their parents. Evan already is getting his karma in the hot abyss, let’s hope gavins mother does too. I don’t blame the kids because they were too young to understand how evil their parents are. The other two can also rot though, karmas gonna hit them hard.

I remember seeing this live on TV on the Ed Sullivan Show May 10, 1970. They were fabulous. I also saw the Jackson Five, Victory Tour in November 1984 in Vancouver at the B.C. Place Stadium. Then were so popular they sold out 3 consecutive nights because 1984 is also when Michael's 'Thriller' LP came out and was the number 1 LP. They played all the the Thriller album songs at the show as well as the Jackson Five's greatest hits they also played. It was a night to remember. A priceless event. I still have the ticket stub. It was only $42 but it was the most expensive concert I had seen in my lifetime and I've seen many big pop and rock concerts.

Michael Jackson was loved and most impressed by four generations of my family ! Can you imagine ? When the Jackson's were on Ed Sullivan performing and singing, "I want you back." I was 18 years old with a six month old baby boy. My mother adored Michael Jackson. I have a collection of every song Michael sung. My son (the baby boy)grew up listening to all of Michael's music. My son's son , my grandson , at the age of 10 years old was the one to tell me that Michael Jackson passed away. My mother, myself, my son and my grandson ; we truly honor and appreciate this extremely multi-talented family. Thank you, for sharing your precious gifts with all of us. MJ. please R.I.P.
