When i started 10 years ago I was able to get decent JIS drivers but now you can get Vessel, Capri, Tekton etc for the same money you will spend at harbor fright, Now we have better higher quality for cheap money. These days are much better than over 15 years ago.

Vessel makes great screwdrivers in general. I myself like the way their tips are cut with precision and defimed to really fit into the head of the fasten you're using. They just fit tight and exact into the fastner heads

After 30 years I still have many of my original starter tools and about all of my up grade stuff. I still use my craftsman tower I bought new in 94. My snap on screwdriver set I bought after two years only one has been replaced in the set. Have bought a few tools off the snap on and Mac trucks, but most came from flea markets.

The display in the lid is genius for reading tech data. Everything he says in this video is on point and I've been wrenching much longer than he's been alive. He's right about debt which is deadly and gets many boxes repoed! BTW ask your tool truck guy if he has an repo'ed boxes for sale as they don't make the franchisee any money sitting in storage.
Re: boxes I've run USAF support section and was chosen to spec my F-16 units tools and boxes. Since Uncle was buying we mostly got Lista. While I rate Lista the best they're so expensive at least one business buys them up at auctions then refurbs them to make buckets of money. My personal boxes are Lista, Kennedy (for my machine shop), and Matco none bought new. I buy Harbor Freight boxes new and they work fine. I would not hesitate to use them professionally then put more money into tools and equipment. If you manage to wear one out it made you far more than it cost.

It doesn’t make you money or make you a better technician but eventually through the years you will build your arsenal of tools and you will need space to put them. I choose to spend the money on the box because I’ve always wanted one, I enjoy having the space to keep all of my tools and also not have to worry about running out of room for new tools, and also the your tool box is something you will have to use everyday when your at work so ya might as well enjoy it.
