The M-65 field jacket, 501 Levi’s, boots and the brush cut hair. Not sure if the film makers picked up on New York’s blossoming Punk movement or Vice Versa. I know it became the go-to uniform for the slightly disconnected 80’s Punk Rocker. Indirectly iconic. Great, great movie.

Travis appeared to be talking for the mere sake of talking, such as “very suspicious looking people.” It was obvious that he was making things a bigger deal than they were, and was just making random conversation with someone you shouldn’t be making a random conversation with (aka secret service agent) This proved he wasn’t quite grounded in reality, and as a result, the secret service agent was asking for his information, although I’m not too sure if it was a polite way of trying to get him to stop talking, or if it was him taking down his details because he felt that a clearly mentally unstable person there was probably worth having his information.

Travis appeared to be talking for the mere sake of talking, such as “very suspicious looking people.” It was obvious that he was making things a bigger deal than they were, and was just making random conversation with someone you shouldn’t be making a random conversation with (aka secret service agent)
This proved he wasn’t quite grounded in reality, and as a result, the secret service agent was asking for his information, although I’m not too sure if it was a polite way of trying to get him to stop talking, or if it was him taking down his details because he felt that a clearly mentally unstable person there was probably worth having his information.
