The last scene in the movie where he shoots Harvey Keitel is the blueprint for future Shoot Em Up movies except they're not filmed on the Lower East Side of Manhattan nyc
I wanted to see this movie when I was seven. I wanted to see Escape from New York when I was 12. I saw Scarface 15 times when I was 14. I saw the Road Warrior when I was 13. And, yet, I still think Dances with Wolves was the best movie of all time.
@@mingus444_gaming Nah, I am usually good at not flinching, but when I got to Nevada in their indoor range, it's way different, so much pressure indoors. I don't like indoor, but they got some fun things to shoot there
BS, looks like a soldier actually. I know because I was. Most soldiers aren't buff, muscle just slows you down in the forest. Long marches make you lose it all
I think it's a sad state of a country where people can take 4x of their own pistols to a shooting range to "practice", carry them around on their person for 'protection' then wonder why there are so many shootings, and MASS shootings in the country. It just boggles my mind. The problem is staring them right in the face.

All that preparation and extra weapon slots really paid off in the finale.
This film and Rocky came out in the same year what a great time for movie goers
The 70s was a great era for film and cinema in general. Many classics came out during that time!
Who got the better apartment: Rocky or Travis?
I loved the way he slotted the wadcutter, to create additional wound channels.
Scorsese and DeNiro's films are always great.
There's goodfellas raging bull and shark tale both are in those
Never ,I mean ever, underestimate anyone
You’re the best around

what is the wound on his back from in this scene that we see when he does push-ups ? (0:05) Is it from de niro or from earlier in the movie ?
I always figured that was from his time in Vietnam...
Study on isolation and loneliness.
Wow.... excellent...👍👍🥰🥰
It angers me that will will eventually remake this
Fuck no. That's not gonna happen.

No more Milk Toast…. 😢
I wonder how long they had to search for an apartment which looks just like a NY garbage bin.
If anyone wonders, yes most New Yorkers still buy guns from street hoods out of a suitcase.

You talkin` to me ? Well, I am the only one here .WTF you think you talkin` to ?!
Who does this sound like?
That great you workout

It's the gringo lifestyle.
He looks like a skinny nerd who rarely works out and has an eating disortder cause of stress in his acting career.
That’s a fighting body. Skinny guys can fight until they are burger.

I say this as a person who fits that description exactly; it's a massive compliment if you think guys like me are built like Travis here.

Yeah, you're 18 years old, and able to buy an Assault Rifle, of course they'll use an AR for home defense, right?
Yea you 2 seem smart how about we don’t use a movie 4 years younger then my dad to debate gun violence
@@pleasedieKindly well, buddy, i'm not talking about the movie, i'm talking about the actual reality.
